I took apart my moped, and as I was putting it back together, I lost the place for a wire. It has two ends, looking like it is for the battery or something. Each end is like this shape. O=-----------=O one side is gold, one side is silver. I need to know what this goes to to have my moped work again.
What color is the wire?

Sorry, don't have a diagram; but:-
The +12V supply end goes to an "+12V when Ignition on" source.
Note that the positive side of the coil also connects to "+12V when Start" source, to ensure maximum supply voltage to coil while cranking engine.

If you feel the shield goes to the middle, try red on one terminal and white on the other. If not, reverse it.
If it's labeled on the circuit board...pin 1, pin 2, pin 3, then pin 1 is usually ground, pin 2 is hot (red), and pin 3 is cold.
