Wiggle the engine harness and see if the engine dies, do this everywhere that the harness has allot strain on it due to engine movement.

You can find a manual most likely on ebay motors. As far as the alternator size it will be stamped on the body of the old one and most likely a part number as well.

I have a 1989ford econoline motor home I live in Victoria Australia the problem I have is that it runs on gas and petrol there is a part that fits on air hoses from carnie to air cleaner it looks like a set of burn oculars 2hoses fit in one endadnd 2hoses at the other end we can not find the part any where in Australia

have you try ed looking under hood? if not located under hood check door jamb . if that don't reveal anything of help go to a parts store and ask them to print out a diagram. If that don't work find a van the same year as your motor home and most likely the belts will be ran the same way. you may need to go to a junk yard to find it.

did you do tune up to fix this problem of stalling or has it been doing it after you did tune up? Just asking maybe i can steer you in a different direction

I think that you need to be more specific when you say that you have changed everything... Because i'm sure that there is MUCH more that has to do with this problem then you may think.... Has the fuel pump fuel pump float pressure regulator and filter been changed out. Also has the crank sensor been changed out. What you the cam sensor?
