Check that the exhaust wasn't damaged in the crash. The exhaust on modern restricted motorbikes is a big part of the correct running of the engine. It could also be the induction system rubbers, If it is not fitted properly the extra air into the engine will change the power characteristics.

Check your clutch adjustment,if this is a used bike there might not be anything left of the clutch.

SOURCE: Hi my honda cbr 600 fl 1991 the bike pulls great

im not sure if this model has a fuel pump but follow your fuel line and see if it does wen u find it remove black plastic cap and check the points contact breakers are in good conditon ie not worn uneven or worn out and that they open and close.check your air filter spark plugs and your carbs could have a blocked jet so get them cleaned and balanced.

Sounds like you have an air lock in the radiator.
The air lock stops the water from circulating and produces over heating.
Get the radiator checked by a Motorcycle Technician.

Voltage issue. With the bike running, remove the negative terminal off of the battery. If the bike stops, it's the alternator. If it doesn't, have the battery tested. Possibly dead cells in the battery. If that still doesn't work, let me know the model year and we can go from there...

I was told by a mechanic that there was no restriction in the exhaust or in the variator, wheres the restriction then?

Usually the CDI. If you have meet the requirements to operate the bike without the restrictions, then the dealer would be glad to change out the CDI, etc. It is not that costly.
Then you can see the benefits from changing pipes, sprokets, etc.
Hope this helps,

Wantin to upgrade my motorbike

Yes they are the same frame and will interchange. I would get everything with the new motor. Exhaust-carbs-air box. You may need to get the CDI box but i'm not shure on that.
