New calipers, rotoers ,pads, abs light comes on after starting engine 1min. later drive it about 10 miles peddle gets hard and brakes lock up any ideas? thanks joe
Are you speaking of one front brake or two? Rear brakes?
If it the front brake locks immediately, then look at the brake hose. It should pull away from the bad caliper when applying the brakes. If you have to drive a bit, then you are likely having a caliper problem. After driving a while, the bad brake should heat that wheel noticebly. Replacement calipers are rebuilt and can be defective.
If both front brakes are sticking, that you probably have a proportioning valve problem. Unusual, but not impossible.
Did you check the brake booster ? how long you use the brake booster? may be have no enough pressure in vacuum brake booster. get more details here for help : http://www.fiverhope.com/

did you follow a bleeding order? some cars do have an order that must be followed. does the car have abs? abs units go bad / have to bled as well and will give you the same effect. did you notice any leaks? aby shinny spots on any of the tires on the inside?

You actually have two separate problems. The brake pull to the right is indicating the left side brake is not working properly. You will want to remove the left front wheel, collapse the caliper piston and make sure the caliper is floating freely on its mounts.
With the piston collapsed you should be able to slide the caliper inboard and outboard of the rotor. If not, you will want to remove the attachment pins, clean and lubricate the pins. If they are grooved or worn you will have to replace them.
The second issue of the ABS light is indicating the system has detected an electrical sensing or control problem. Take the vehicle to your local Auto Zone or Advance Auto and ask them to scan the vehicle for trouble codes. They will scan it for you at no charge.
Chances are you will find a wheel speed sensor problem at one of the wheels.
Write the codes down and respond back, we can start diagnosing the problem,
Good luck, let me know.

There are times when the rubber brake lines start to come apart internally and act like a one way valve. they let the fluid in, but will not let it out.
Try this: The the brakes are locked up release the bleeder on the caliper. if pressure come out there, lock up again, and release the hose where it goes into the metal line. This may be hard because of rust, but you will probably have to replace the line anyway.
You may have a bad Master, but odds are it is the rubber lines. Hope this helps.

Hi.
If the ABS light comes on, then there is definitively a problem that must be corrected. The ABS light turns on for a number of reasons. If the problem started after replacing brake pads and sensors it is usually because of sensor wiring. When abs light is on it means that diagnostic trouble codes are stored in the car computer modules (in both ECM that is the main computer, and also in ABS control module).
If you have done the brake service recently, get back to the garage that did the job and ask them doing a code scanning. Possibly go there while the ABS light is on. The codes will reset after turning on the ignition a number of times if the problem is not there anymore. Wiring problems often manifest themselves only occasionally in consequence of vibration. That is likely your case.
Note: when you go to the dealer for the code scanning mention that the problem started after the repair or you will be charged the standard fee for code scanning (usually half hour labor). Mention that the ABS module may need scanning for codes and go there when ABS light is on. They will use a Tech 2 scanner to pull out ABS codes. A regular OBDII scanner will only retrieve codes from main computer.
Regards.
