Check the fuses. Is the kill switch on or shorting out? Disconnect it and then check for spark. Sidestand/centerstand should be up, Got a good battery?

I am unfamiliar with your Keeway and just trying to help. Don't give me a bad rating if I miss the mark on this one. Thanks.

SOURCE: honda cbr 600 wont start

hi, each lead has the specific number on it. if you do this correctly then they genrally give you an idea to where the sit in the coils( the way they bend :-) ) also i believe the coils are better off been attached to the frame once you are sure leads are in corect order and possitioned correctly in the coils.i just presumed the coils neaded earthing. make sure battery is pleny charged as a bad battery can just hinder. it is also very easy to flood the bike so just check the plugs again. if they are unusually wet then dry them off and try again . otherwise maybe try cleaning all electics.

hope this somehow helped

how long was your bike sitting for when you did the new piston? change the old fuel out the tank if the bike has been stood for along period of time the fuel may have gone off. have you installed the piston the correct way round?

My kawasaki zxr 750 j2 wont start at all there is not even a spark

Get a service manual. If you dont have any spark then that's the first thing you need to fix. All the checks for that one item would take me all day to type out. get a service manual!

Won't tick over

Depends how mechanically minded you are, basics to start are: strip and clean carbs, put fresh fuel in the tank (remove old fuel first) change spark plugs, oil, oil filter and air filter.

Bike wont start.good spark to plugs.fuel pump working. side stand switch fine. neutral switch fine.

i have the same bike try this. Firstly check the fuel is fairly fresh, using premium fuel on this model seems to work well. drain a little fuel from each carb to remove poss water build up and get fresh fuel. if spark plugs over 6 months old or over 5000 miles change as zxrs` eat plugs a spark does not mean it is allways good. i have changed to irridium plugs and have not had problems since . before you take out plugs turn over the engine a few times then when you remove each plug they should be wet ,if one is dry no fuel so clean carb, remove plug caps before you do this and note exact location of each.good luck Bri.

Kawasaki zxr400bike been stood for a while started after a couple

Backfires may indicate that a valve is sticking open, so that you are not getting compression. I am assuming that no repairs or adjustments were done which might have messed up the timing of valves or ignition.

How to change my oil on a kawasaki ninja 750

Get the bike so it is setting upright.
There a plug on the under side of the motor. Remove the plug and have a catch pan to catch the old oil. The filter will need to be changed also. Do this before you put new oil in. Put the plug back in and open the fill plug on the side of the engine and fill with new motorcycle oil. DO NOT USE OIL FOR CARS!! Watch that you do not over fill it.

Spark plug was drowned from the gas

It could be that the floats in carb are sticking, or the the carb is adjusted way to rich allowing more gas to enter cylinder than what can be burned off.
Otherwise, you may have a weak coil which is not giving the bike enough spark to ignite all the gas.

No spark kawasaki 750 l

ZXR H1 Has a overly strong ignition and can eat plugs at a set every 2-3000 miles.if none of them spark, clean up earth contact on the coils, a weak battery will also not spark.water can get in the kill switch or it may be a faulty ic igniter no spark at all ,or if faulty coil only two plugs will fire.and finally do you have a side stand kill switch.located at the top of the side stand.if so remove the two wires and join together to bypass the switch.last resort try wiggling the wires when cranking over to find loose wire.

Dead battery after a long ride

Yes, it could be the regulator. Running a battery flat MAY kill it, so try to recharge it and then load test it. Put a fully charged battery in the bike. Hook up a voltmeter and start the bike. Rev engine to about 3-4000 rpm. If your regulator is working you should be getting about 14v. If the reading does not change from what it was before you started the bike, your charging system is not working. Do test the parts before you simply replace them.

If you can't find another similar connection on the new motor, you might need to swap heads (if it's the same exact motor).
