SOURCE: thought i burnt the clutch out on my wr

Please pardon my response if it is too simple, but did you correctly align the pressure plate (Center part that tops the clutch plates and has springs bolted through it.) with the inner clutch basket (the part inside the clutch basket that the pressure plates spline onto)? If this is not aligned, the pressure plate will not fully engage the clutch plates. Both parts usually have an indicator mark that shows proper alignment.

I would be inspecting the kill switch. Only thing on the bar that could be it other than the start button.

SOURCE: clutch slippage

Drain fluid out of clutch cylinder. Clean out cylinder then look at bottom and you will see 2 small holes.Stick a small pin or wire into the hole that has a little check ball inside. Once you can push that ball in with the pin you will see some fluid come into the reservoir. That lets you know it was clogged. Now refill with dot 4 and bleed system. Clutch will not slip now. I just had the same problem and changed clutch spring, plates, etc and nothing worked until I did this.

SOURCE: The bike starts and runs great and the clutch feel

Friction plates in your clutch worn all the way down is a possible cause. Hope that it is this, not a tranny prob.
Here is a handy schematic showing you the parts of your clutch. After you look, if you have questions, ask me directly. I've changed many of these out and can walk you through it. It is very simple. You will require a new clutch cover gasket which you can purchase from the same site that this link goes to.

2007 Johhny Pag Raptor 300. While riding the fuel bowl fell off. Trying to order a replacement part. Where can I find them? Even the Johnny Pag web page doesn't have these parts listed.

Hi, Anonymous you have two options you can go around to any local bike shop with your carburetor and inquire about a new or used bowl, carbs are pretty generic or you can contact the carb manufacturer directly for their feedback. Good luck and have a nice day.

Battery is charged, Starter Whines and is turning but bike won't fire off, 2009 Street Glide

is your engine turning over, if it is, pull your spark plugs and clean them. this happens on my 98 Heritage Softail Classic. It sounds funny but from long warm ups with choke pulled they get carbon build up and this keeps the plug from firing. If your motor is not turning over then you Bendix gear is out on your starter.

My control is very loose and it causing me to miss the gear when I shift.. it won't shiftinto gear until I try a few times then its ok..had it to the dealer today but I guess it didn't work with...

I am not familiar with your particular bike but for the most part they are all alike. There should be a small bolt on the end of the shift pedal. Tighten it up; it probably requires a 10mm wrench. Some bikes will have a linkage at the end of the shift pedal. The rod connecting the linkage will connect to the shift shaft using a small bolt as above. Tighten the bolt. Below is a diagram showing a linkage connection. In either style, the bolt to tighten is the one connected to the shift shaft. tombones49_153.gif
