SOURCE: dead battery

Steve when you store a vehicle it is best to use a trickle charger to maintain the battery.

, I believe your problem can be solved by replacing the charging fuse next to the battery. It is not with the other fuses. If you pull the battery out it should be on the left with a plastic cover thing over it. Follow the power line and it will be along that.

SOURCE: kymco people 150 when i push the starter button

The starter relay needs replaced. If you follow the + wire from the battery, it goes into a box with a + wire on the other side of it. If you jump power across the two wires, it should start

The plug is located behind the plastic. You'll have to take the seat off to get to it. That's not hard but putting it back on can be challenging.
Sometime, the Grand Dink/vista can be really "touchie" make sure even if the battery is new that the posts are cleaned off good along with the wires. I know it sounds lame..but it will make it not start.

SOURCE: Kymco Vitality 2t 50 won't turn over. When I

Take your spark plug out of the cylinder, reconnect it to the ht lead and place it on to your frame if you see a spark then your coil is fine, try a new spark plug, if there is no spark get a new coil and plug.

Remember there is a 2t and a 4t version of the kymco vitality and the spark plugs are different.

Changed battery now wont turn over.

gday there have you cleaned the earth lead and positive lead on the ones going to the battery if you have then have you checked that your new battery has charge in it between 13 to 14.2 volts as some batteries do not come charged or if it is a acid type battery it may not have acid in it ,you probably would have checked this already but just a thought my end ,if all is good there did you accidently put the terminals on wrong for a second if you made a mistake like that the fuse may have blown ,easy done,if not check with a multimeter from your battery back to your starter soliniod and if all good there then check back from that .hope this helps cheers

Replace starter fuse

That would be afirst. There is no such thing as a starter fuse. Starter motors draw more than 100 amps so they are wired direct from battery ground to the starter, from battery positive to starter soliniod, from starter soliniod to starter motor.

Bike won't start, starter soliniod clicks but starter won't roll over, it will hum and not turn over.

Those are the typical symptoms of a weak battery. Try either to charge the battery, try a jump start or replace the battery. Lights or horn working do not give an indication of the battery charge status.

My 92 explorer will not start when i turn the key i only get a click what could it be?

Either the battery is low on charge, or the starter is going bad. The battery is low on charge is the more likely cause in the winter months.

Also, the battery could be bad and is in need of replacement, assuming that it can be charged to 12 v or above.

The CCA may be low on the battery.

Good luck on this repair.

I have 2006 f-150 4x4 4.6l. I have a bad batterie and replaced with new. After putting in truck still won't turn over. I can here iginition but nothing from starter no noise at all. Could it be the starter...

The starter motor relay is in the fuse panel in the passenger side kick panel.

Try turning the key to the run position, press and hold the brake, and shift into Neutral, and try to start. This will test if the DTR ( Digital Trans Range ) sensor is having an issue in the park position

Replaced starter still wont start soliniod good 90

if the motor turn over but will not start try looking at the cps(crank position sensor)it would create a no spark condition. its located at the back of the engine right at the bell housing for the can test it with an ohms meter or just replace it.

1995 nissan maxima doesnt start when cold, just clicks, and after trying for 5 to 10 minutes it finally starts... Please help me out...

it is one of two things.
  • the starter is either worn and brushes not making contact or an engine oil leak onto the starter. thus keeping the brushes from making contact you can check this by banging on the starter while someone trys turning the ignition back and forth to start.(making the click click click)

  • ignition switch is weak, not providing enough voltage from the to kick the soliniod all the way to start the starter

The way to check that is to hot wire the starter soliniod little wire, to battery voltage. (the big cable on the solinoid)
If it turns over good, then you can either replace the ignition switch or install a relay someware near the starter to supply it with propper current to kick the solinoid all the way to engage the motor.
The relay acts as a remote starter switch that feeds more direct power to the starter solinoid. Now the only thing the ignition switch is responsible for, is trigger the relay.

Suburban Will not turn over.

Have you tried to start it by putting it in the neutral position? If it don't start there, it could be the ignition switch, witch is located under dash on the steering colume, assuming its an automatic.
