SOURCE: loose speedo cable

Hi,
Try rotating the cable within the speedometer covering sleeve, with your hand fastly. If there is some movement in your speedometer, then there is some problem within the rotator inside wheel fittings. If not try replacing the speedometer connecting cable and this should work.
I hope this is useful to you

I have a 2000 dodge caravan none of the gauges work my tack. my temp my speedo and my fuel gauge can you help me how to fix this thanks dean

Check fuse for gauges. If ok, try banging on top of dash above instrument panel to see if they begin to work again. If they do, possible loose connection or defective cluster

Tach problems

If you have an after-market radio, suspect the CHASSIS GROUND CONNECTION for the instrument cluster.
Also, check all fuses to be sure it isn't a blown fuse.

Speedodmerter and tack don't work but mileg dose

if you were to use a volt meter to check for voltage on the tach's + wire at the instrument cluster while running, and checked for a signal from the speedo's + wire at the instrument cluster, there's a strong chance theres voltage. These instrument clusters have a tendency to corrode at the terminals for these two gauges. Sometimes cleaning the contacts will work, but installing a known used one will do the trick.

My 2007 Chevy Tahoe drivers instrument panel stopped working. Which fuse do i check to see if thats the problem?

what stopped working in it-there was a special policy at the dealer for the speedo that quits working-the motor that runs the speedo and tack needles go bad

Finding the wire that goes to the factory tackometer.

no, you need to buy an autometer tach adapter and tap it in to the harness on the passenger side firewall then run your tach from the tach adapter to your car. Dont mess with the cluster.
go to autometes website and it will tell you how to wire and what pin to splice in. The whole thing will take like 10min to do.
