Hi, Brenda for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. The dealership should be able to help you there. Often the shift pedal from an earlier model will work well. The factory changes things in a effort to improve the product but some changes are not as good as intended.

hello. it seems that the clutch is starting to wear significantly. the best you can do is make sure that there is freeplay left in the clutch lever. but if no more can be had then it is obvious that the clutch plates need to be inspected, for they are most likely worn and/or damaged beyond service limit. this will show more likely in the higher gears.
