SOURCE: oil change 1999H D Electra glide

The plug ( 3/4 wrench ) under the trans when your looking at the trans cover ( right side of the bike ) is the trans. If you drained that replace it with 24 oz. of either HD trans fluid or I prefer Golden Spectro 75/140 ( much better shifting on a Harley ( trust me you'll never go back to HD trans fluid ) the drain for your motor oils is on the same pan ( on the bottom ) but it's the plug facing the front of the bike. Looks just like the trans plug. Both use a 11105 o ring which you should replace everytime ( just for piece of mind as well as leaks ) you need 4 quarts of 20/59 HD oil. Hope it helps.

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

Check your jets in your carbs and also could be bad fuel. Poor some sea foam in it and some new fuel and check to see if the inline filter is plugged and check your air filter as well.

SOURCE: how do i derestrict my lifan s-ray 50cc 4-stroke

Unless you find a small "restricting washer" between the head and the exhaust pipe...Then usually there is no easy means. In the past these "washers" were put in place to reduce performance, the idea was as the riders skills improve the washer can be removed. It also was a way for parents to keep their children from zooming flat out everywhere.

Refill twin cam oil on 2007 dyno street bob

Your oil tank is under the transmission, so I'll use this illustration:

Start at the Transmission End Cover (the one that says "SIX SPEED" stamped on it).
Directly at 9 o'clock on the cover is a screw.
Straight up from that screw is a chrome plug with an Allen wrench hole. This is where you fill the TRANSMISSION fluid.

Straight back from that is a chrome cap with the finger grooves in it.
THIS is where you fill the ENGINE OIL.

BOTH caps have an attached dipstick for checking the fluid level.

Where does my 2 stroke oil Go in my piaggio Zip 50cc 2007

There should be a tank, usually under the seat or behind the rear side panels. Just fill the 2-stroke tank and don't worry about the mixing, the engine does it on it's own.

Hi, so in a suzuki ts 185, as I can't find a dipstick, the engine and gearbox run on the two stroke oil under the seat then? As long as there's enough in bottle then I'm o.k? I thought this...

The two stroke oil in the oil tank only lubricates the piston and crank shaft. There is a separate transmission oil bath that usually holds less than a quart. The number of cc's the transmission takes is stamped on the the side cover by the fill hole. Start by draining the old fluid out of the transmission and replace the drain plug. On the engine side cover below the fill hole is a hex bolt with a phillips indentation on the head for a screw driver and a copper sealing washer. This is the fill level bolt, take it out. With the motorcycle upright take one quart of oil and add it through the fill hole until the oil starts to come out the fill level hole, then put the fill hole bolt and washer back in and tighten the bolt. That is the correct procedure for filling your transmission. Use only 70 wt or 75 wt motorcycle gear oil, or SE, SF, or SG motor oil, or any motor oil that has the JASO MA Japanese motorcycle engine rating on it. Do not use any oil that says "Energy Conserving" on the label, it will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears.

Yes you can do it yourself

I have a 2005 LT80 that is making a whining sound consistent with the velocity of the transmission and seems to be getting worse. Any ideas?

there are 2 possibilities

Yes, you need to change the rear gear oil.
Back of the bike where axle runs through left crankcase. There is a small 10mm bolt on the bottom.
Take that out and the gear oil will drain. This is the drain bolt.
When empty replace the drain bolt and remove the fill bolt/cap 10mm on the side of the left crankcase. Should be approx 2 inches above the drain bolt. It will be marked right on the case.
Fill it up with gear oil until it runs out the hole your putting it into.
Screw the cap/bolt back in and your good to go.

Yes, your drive belt is breaking, tearing. Located on the left side of engine under clutch cover.

Oil Change

1/Open oil filer neck/hole above foot clutch
2/Drain the oil from cranckcase, drain bolt in front of centre stand. Use a catcher for used oil.
3/Remove oil filter case @ centre of engine block below rad, that hump looking item
4/Put new oil filter the reverse of taking oil filter off.
5/ Close drain hole securely
6/Put new oil into cranckcase abt 3L, check dipstick to see how full it is, if needed continue filling until proper amount is in the cranckcase.
7/ Close the filler neck and it is ready to play
8/ Good enough free advise?

I don't know where to add oil to the Daelim S2 125. Please explain where the oil fill hole is.

The head cover has a filling plug, you´ll need a hose to refill.+remove the front engine fairing.

Im changing the transmission oil 10w40. The manuel says to put in about 13ounces but the dealer told me to fill until it overflows out the filler hole. I've put in almost a full liter(canadian) and its...

The transmission fill hole is a 10 mm bolt that sticks out about 2" the run out of the hole is a 14mm bolt an 1"1/2 below that. it looks like a bolt to hold on the clutch cover.
I had the same problem till I read the service manual.
