Take plugs out...insert a probe into number 1...bring it to tdc and check that it is at the same rotational degree point and height as tdc on number 4...do the same comparison between 2+3...any difference will mean a bent rod or twisted crank...both of these would require an engine strip for further investigation

How do I replace front indicators on a kawasaki GPZ 1100 1998? Thanks.

GPZ1100 was built from 1981 to 1985.
If you have a 1998 ZX1100, there is a retaining screw in the front of the signal lamp lens to remove it ftom the fairing.
You may want to splice the old wire connectors onto your new signals if you're not going stock.

Seized engine

Could possibly be Crank shaft, crank bearing, or dropped a valve. Im assuming when you say it wont start, you mean it wont even turn over. If you say the drive sprocket wont turn then someting is stopping the crank shaft from turning. You will need to explore more of the engine to find the exact problem. Workshop manuals can be found online and downloaded if you look about, they will tell you exactly how to strip the engine down.

Can you get to the cam gear on the crank without spliting the case? Small part fell down cam chain well. Actually its a 96 dr200. Thx!

ooops, hate to tell you this, but unless you can fish the part out from the top you will be splitting the cases to get the part out,i have done this myself ,i have a flexible pickup rod with a magnet on the end and have used it on numerous occassions .mostly succesfull.but sometimes not and i have had to pull the whole motor apart to get a 5c washer out..good luck

A 1981 GoldWing Interstate 1100cc. Started would

Check the compression before tearing it down - the cylinder with the water will probably come up low.
It's very likely that the head gasket has failed. As a result (or the cause) it's also likely that the head has warped, it'll need skimming before rebuilding the motor

Suzuki is reving high for a long time and loss of power

When you say revving high, does that mean without you applying the throttle? If so, you may have a bad crank seal. Have you been noticing more smoke than normal? A drop in transmission oil?
Crank seals do go. The magneto side can be replaced without pulling the motor. the clutch side, however....... This I know from personal experience!

Engine is hunting at tickover

Check the float needle valve for smooth (sticky free) operation. If the needle valve does not stop the flow of fuel into the bowl, it will spill into the intake and rev the engine. Check also the overflow tubes. If the overflow tubes are plugged the problem will show up as reving, if they're open, check for fuel leakage under the bike when running.

Neddle valves aren't expensive to replace but they sure are annoying when the stop working correctly.

Check the floats when you have it apart to make sure they aren't filling with fuel.

Drivers Side brake light bulb is burned out.

Pull the panel back on the INSIDE of the car's hatchback or trunk. The bulbs twist in from the back.
