Hi Anonymous, you have a hard/dead short that should be easy to find generally they are the easiest. Time to get out your test light and connect it to the power side of the, circuit breaker or the blown fuse receiver, start by tracking the out bound wire towards the ignition switch and beyond if necessary, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. For a free wiring diagram please visit the website below and good luck.

1997 Toyota fuse blows when put in drive

What fuse does it blow? Ignition? If not ignition, I would suspect that when put in drive engine rpms drop and perhaps alternator charging drops creating need for battery to supplement or some accessory is drawing at less voltage and therefore higher amps = blowing fuse. Figure out which fuse is blowing and look for bad connection or bad part in that circuit.

Engine fuse keeps blowing. what does it supply power to and most commoncause for this to happen.

the only reason that fuses keep blowing is excessive current usage through them
It is from shorts in the units after the fuse, faulty units after the fuse, too many extra accessories tagged into the circuit. It normally supplies power to all the engine circuit items (ignition, starter relay, alternator, accessories and anything else connected to the ignition switch

My screen on odometer and radio have problems

check that it hasn t any blown fuses possibally check if there is power to the cigarette lighter or 12v aux power as well because it all could be on the same fuse, this will help you find the problem as well , but definally first step is to locate fuse block and look through the diagrams of accessories usually located on the plastic door to the fuses and check if it has just blown a fuse . if on inspection it has replace with the exact rated fuse and then try . if it continues to blow the fuse it is pointing to a problem within the accessories or wiring that is causing it to draw more current than it should thus blowing the fuse to prevent further damage .

Car fuse blows when i play a game

You should try replacing the fuse with a higher amp fuse. It may be that the fuse resistance level is to low. You may need to repair or replace the mobile inverter if it still blows a stronger fuse. It may be that the inverter is malfunctioning and causing the fuse to blow. Check it for loose wires or screws etc., or send it back.
