én próbáltam. Nagyon nehéz, vagy valamit rosszul csináltam. Leszedtem a tankot,a szelepfedelet, ás így is keserves volt. Nem tudom hogy csinálják ezt szervizben....

What is carburetor jetting first dirt bike I'm learning.

Jetting is altering the main jet in the carburettor. Usually, you replace with a jet with a larger hole, so you put more fuel into the cylinders. The main jet has a hole and atomises the fuel into a mist with is then sucked into the engine and vaporised into gas, which is then ignited by the spark plug. You should only change the main jet if you have done something to the engine to warrant it. This may include re-boring the cylinder to increase the cubic capacity of the engine, or removing the air filter for racing which increases air flow and can handle the extra fuel..

Conversely, some early mopeds were fitted with smaller main jets and restrictor plated in the carburettor mouth to reduce the power and top speed to 30mph.

1i want to know how an where to fit a stage 6 proformance air filter to aerox.

On the carburettor, air being drawn into the carburettor is air that needs to be filtered. Simply remove the standard air box and fit the stage6 one. But don't forget; a stage6 filter will let more air get drawn into the engine, the more extra air need extra fuel to burn otherwise you will be running lean (to much air to fuel ratio). Running an engine lean will cause it to run hotter, if engine gets too hot it will cause the piston to become seized. So if your going to fit a free flow air filter don't forget to up-jet your carburettor.

Carburettors seem to be running too rich. Can't locate air mixture adjusters, if that's the problem.

The air mixture settings dont often change by themselves, its usually a small screw under the carb, and is sometimes blanked over with a alum plug .
as the air filter gets old it can richen the mixture even if the filter looks ok and clean.
the carbs float bowls can flood due to dirt or corrosion as will require a carb overhaul.
If the air filter or exhaust has been changed from standard, this can mean rejetting, the air screws have their main effect at idle

It sat for several years I am trying to revive it and when i finally got it to crank it will only idle high while choked when the choke is disengauged it dies out help

Clean your carburettor and air filter, make sure the carburettor is pulled apart and cleaned properly, do not just add additive to the fuel.

Gsf 600 bandit carburettor dimentions . want to do away with the old air fillter box and fit cone type air fillters onto the back of the carb but need to know the diam mentions of the back off the carb...

get yourself a set of cheap calipers from autozone to figure it out for sure, be aware that by changing the filters, you might need to change the carb jets to accomodate the different amount of airflow that you will expierence. Ussually it will take a two step larger jet then what was on it, but not always.

This sounds like it could be any of 3 things. Ignition system, Air system & fuel system. Most commonly you'll find that the carburettors just need to be cleaned as this problem sounds related.

I would suggest thoroughly cleaning the carburettors as a good starting point. Along the way though I would also check the battery, the fuel tap and filter, the air filter and air ducts. As any of these components are blocked, will cause a similiar symptom. You should find it run better afterwards, if not I can help moving on to check the next possible cause. Probabilly a stuk carburettor float or needle.
Try to solve this problem to gently tap on the carburettor bodies. If this doesn't help you have to clean out the carburettors, and/or replace the float neeldes

Hi, i have a 1990 honda cb1 (cb400). the problem i have is getting it started, it doesnt like starting with the choke and it seems to catch when i take my thumb off the starter button. even when the engine...


Nahh, i dont think the problem is any wire, the problem is more lite the sparking plug or the carburettors. Is is after all a 1990 model, i dont know when you replaced the sparking plugs last time, but im sure you never cleaned the carburettors.

Try first to replace the sparking plugs,thats the easy job, if that dosent make is start easyer then you have to take the carburattors down and clean them, and thats the hard job.
