SOURCE: 2002 Dyna wide glide. Will not IDLE

not running for a year! You have a varnish buildup in the low end circuit of the carb. You will need to remove the carb and do a full teardown of the carb to properly rectify this problem. SOMETIMES we are able to free up the passages by putting SEA FOAM cleaner in the tank , fill her up with fresh fuel and ride through the tank and it will clear up. SEA FOAM can be purchased at an auto parts store and is sometimes very effective. 1/4 cup to full tank fuel.

SOURCE: how to change oil in 2003 HD FXD Dyna Super Glide

remove the drain plug from the oil pan, you will need either a 3/4" box wrench or a 5/8" box wrench and the drain plug will be facing forward on the the oil pan. It is easiest to remove this drain plug from under the right side of the bike. put drain plug back in after about 10 m,inutes of drain time and tighten to 18 ft. lbs. Dont forget to change the oil filter as well.

How to change a headlight bulb on a 2002 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide

REMOVAL

Do not ever touch the quartz bulb with your fingers as fingerprints will etch the glass and cause the bulb to fail prematurely.

Loosen the trim ring clamp screw and nut, remove the trim ring, pull the connector block from the bulb prongs, remove the rubber boot from the back of the headlamp assembly, squeeze the wire retaining clip ends to unhook and release them from the from notches in the headlamp assembly, pivot the wire retaining clip away from the bulb aqnd then remove the bulb from the headlamp assembly.

FXDWG, FXDXT Models

Loosen the trim ring clamp screw and remove the trim ring, pull the wiring connector from the bulb prongs, remove the rubber boot from the back of the headlamp assembly, squeeze the wire retaining clip ends to unhook and release them from the notches in the headlamp assembly, pivot the wire retaining clip away from the bulb and remove the bulb from the headlamp assembly.

INSTALLATION

Install a new bulb and assemble the headlamp components in the reverse of the removal process. Align the headlight when it is fully installed. When reassembling the headlamp ensure that the slots and tabs in the headlamp, adapter ring, and trim ring are aligned.

What is the easiest way to change my front light bulb? 2005 HD Wide Glide

If you are talking about the headlight bulb and it is like the old style like my 98, should be a phillips screw underneath on the surrounding ring which will loosen it. A rubber seal that can be pulled back and there should be a clip that holds the housing that holds the bulb. You can get a replacement bulb at an ordinary auto parts store. Be VERY careful not to get your fingers on the glass part of the bulb, the oils from fingers can make it crack due to high temp of halogen.
Hope it works.
