SOURCE: 07 Street Bob. At 9000 miles, the engine mounts

You have a torn engine mount, if your bike is still under warranty get it to your dealer asap!!!!! The same thing happened to my 08 Superglide, the dealer was quick to fix it as I had no idea as to why my bike was shaking so badly. Also check that your tank mounts are tight too..
Good luck!

I have a 1982 yamaha xj 650 maxim and I'm wondering what the torque specs for the clutch basket bolt and the spring bolts

Here is a link to average torque specs.. The diameter they are mentioning isn't the head size but the diameter of the fastener.
Also remember that usually the actual measurements of the bolt will be just under the size in the table.

Clutch cable adjustment maxed out , with plenty of slack, appears to be pulled lose internally, What could be going on here ?

sounds like you 1st need to reajust your clutch remove the derby cover and then is if the 11/16 lock nut in the center of the clutch basket came loose.if it did reajust the clutch at the same it you can see if the cable and the clutch ramp is working by turning the adjuster in but 1st pull the lever to the grip in if it moves then you know the right side of the ****** if ok.
