Yamaha Blaster won't start, carb is good, has a new plug, tried the fuel in the plug thing still no go, what do I check next?

Hi, Phillip and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.

4. Engine flooded as a result of overuse of the enricher.
5. Vacuum hose to the fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.
6. Fuel valve/petcock or filter clogged.
7. Severely discharged or damaged battery, you need 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
8. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
9. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
10.. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
11. Ignition timing incorrect due to a faulty ignition coil, ignition module or sensors (MAP, CMP, CKP, O2, TPS, ETP, IAC,or BAS).
12. Faulty neutral, clutch lever, or kickstand safety switch.
13. Faulty fuel pump or fuse or relay.

Hi guys, i have a 2004 yamaha blaster (200cc) and its all stock standard. I once took it in to get it serviced and it came back with about 12 holes in the air filter box cover. I went and bought a new...

Make sure your air cleaner is clean and not restricting the air flow. try removing it completely and then run it and see if there is any difference. Also make sure your carb is clean! The holes that were drilled in it is a way to modify the air box for better performance by allowing more air but the down side is you might get water in your motor if your running through mud and water

I have a yamaha blaster 200cc quad that is off road can i covert it to on road and what do i need to do

The regulations for the use of a Quad on the public highway vary from country to country. I would suggest that you ask your local vehicle licensing authority. Some Quads require a massive amount of extra kit to make them road legal. And sometimes it is not financially viable to change the usage, some quads are not capable of being made road legal..

I bought a 2002 yamaha blaster rebuilt top end. New wisco piston and only bored cycl. 20 over. started up second kick. rode great about 3 hrs then parkes it. It ran great. I put 93 gas with yamalube in mix...

Try a new spark plug. Go to a motorsports dealer to purchase a new one as alot of discount or big name store can get a lower grade of sparkplug and this can create alot of grief.

Oil leaking from clutch push lever

Sounds like a worn seal. If you remove the cover and knock out the seal any atv dealer should be able to replace it.
