I was changing my spark plugs on 2004 hayabusa and i took the airbox off to do it. Only problem is my fuel gauge reads empty but it has a full tank of gas. Bike starts jist fine. Whats the problem?

Hi, Mac you could have a faulty sending unit or gauge, there could be a problem with your wiring. On models with the fuel gauge posing as a left-hand fuel cap the gauge is a press fit do not try to unscrew it, simply ample force lift up in a rocking motion to remove gauge. Disconnect wires to the gauge and with a set of positive and negative jumpers from the battery connect the positive jumper and flash the negative, gauge should peg full, if not replace the gauge. With a test light check for power to the sending unit, then remove the sending unit and manually operate the float arm slowly with the correct wiring hooked up to the fuel gauge and sending unit and the ignition on, the gauge should respond accordingly if not replace the float arm assembly. If your fuel gauge registers the incorrect amount of fuel in the tank you can try bending the float arm the necessary amount for a more accurate reading. When the kick stand is up on my 07 hayabusa it dies when I put it in gear

sounds like your sidestand safety switch or clutch saftey switch isnt working properly, find a manual for it and do the tests to isolate the problem. the fact that you can start it probably means the clutch switch is working.

Hi, i have a 99 suzuki hayabusa, engine is turning over but wont start, kill switch seems 2 b switching itself off, when its in the off position with ignition on the temp gauge goes 2 top, any ideas??...

You would be best to visit a good reliable mechanic, the bike not starting is one thing but the temp gauge is another and you could have a serious short, better safe than sorry

Hayabusa engine griding sound

If you have done 14,500KM since the noise started there can't be a whole lot wrong. They are noisy engines anyway - might be normal. Only thing I can suggest is to check under your clutch cover.
