May have a little water in the ram air intake and the air filter may be wet, try removing it and blowing out relly good with a high pressure air hose.good luck.

1981 suzuki gs750. Replaced stator, wasn't charging. Charging now, but spark plug fire is real weak. Runs good at low rpms, but sputters at higher rpms.

Have you checked the points? Be sure to clean the point contacts, also she may need a new condenser if it is not new (they break down with age). Did you clean the carbs? Did you mess with any adjustment screws? post back with what things you have done.

Clicking noise at low rpms

usually a light clicking could be your valve train and/or timing chain.

These tiny spark plugs will foul easily just from normal choking or even in-town riding at low throttle. Sounds like one or more cylinders drops out at times. Pull and clean the plugs, especially inners ( #2 and #3.) The sooty look is not far from a misfiring condition, so get them good and clean. Sometimes spraying firing tips with carb cleaner and then burning them with an oxygen/acetylene or other type torch can help bring back good firing metal. Unless you have a clogged carb or jet from dirty fuel or running without air filters. I bet the bike comes to life at higher rpms right? Fouling plugs. Numero uno cause for this symptom. THanks TT

Mess up

Your bike is most likely running a little lean on the idle/slow-speed circuit. The jets might need a cleaning, or you've got a slight air leak somewhere. Other possibilities ... - Idle mix screw out of adjustment (Probably not as it's sealed and 'supposed to be' tamper free) - Carbs slightly out of synch
