Sounds like either an issue with the jetting in the carbs, or maybe just some dirt in the fuel system. Try cleaning the fuel system really good then maybe have the carbs looked at and rejetted if necesary.

'87 Yamaha ProV 50: Will cold start and idle well. After a full throttle 1-2 min run will begin & continue running very rough near idle. Will die without addtl throttle imput.

Hi Roderick:
I'm not familiar with your engine configuration, but on some of the older bikes, vibration eventually can cause a wire to break in the coil. When the engine is cold, the wires make contact and it runs, but as soon as it gets hot, the connection is broken or compromised and the spark quits or drives you crazy.
Since your bike runs when cold and quits when hot, I'd be looking for electrical rather than fuel problems.
Hope this helps.

2003 Yz 125 starts runs good for 5 mins then Boggs down and dies won't start for 10 mins plus when kicks over runs and dies again even with feather of clutch and full throttle plZ anybody got any ideas...

The most likely thing is a faulty primary ignition coil, the one in the generator these suffer alot and when the get warm they pack up.try making the spark plug gap very small and see if it helps it. Also check to see if it has a spark just after it cuts out.

Bike leaves me stranded after 15 mins

Check your ignition coils. Sometimes they fail with an open circuit, this can sometimes close up when the machine is cold and open again when it heats up. So. it will start when cold and fail when it warms up.

Bad starter .cuts out when warmed up. and dont like choke

Sounds like a fuel flow problem. Have you removed the fuel tap? theres a filter within the tank that can get clogged. Also it can be a blocked breather pipe. Also check the fuel cap area. It has a vent to allow air in as fuel is used to prevent a vacuum.
