Clutch cable sportster

Look on the underside of the clutch perch (mount).
There's an "E" clip on the end of the pivot pin.

Remove this clip, and you can push pivot pin up and out of the clutch lever/mounting.

2005 sportster 883 stopped at light,bike in 1st gear, now will not come out of gear and have play in shift lever

when you stop at a light you need to reve the throttle to get it in to nuteral the gears in the ****** are not lined up you should sift it first before you stop.

Replacement Shifter pedal (the part that screws into the lever on the transmission fell off from vibration.

This is quite common. You can purchase the replacement either from your local Harley shop or from most any aftermarket shop. When you put it back in the lever, put a good coating of Loctite on the threads.

There is a spring inside the Primary that pulls the shifter back to the neutral position....it is broken......common problem with the Sportster.
