My panel light is out, and my windows won't work

Could be a ground problem . Do you know power ? B+ voltage circuits an ground ? You would need to look at a wiring diagram an a power an ground distribution diagram to see if these two thing's have anything in common . Free wiring diagrams at http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html . Videos on you tube on basic automotive electrical trouble shooting , plus voltage drop testing . Doing some basic electrical circuit test's is the way to find electrical problems . Then again it could be two different problems , power window problems can be caused by broken wires in the rubber boot from the body to the driver door main switch. Could be any number of thing's causing these two problems . Unless you have good knowledge of electrical trouble shooting an reading wiring diagrams , this could be something best left to a professional tech .

2002 GET Yukon XL. Drivers side fog light works. Other side does not. Replaced bulb and the connector. Still not working. What should I look for

If you can read an electrical schematic of your car, get one and map the direction/location of the wire harness that sends electricity to your dead fog lamp. Check the wires for current until you find current. then check the wiring between the found current spot and the fog lamp for bends/breaks or any other problems that would cause it to not carry the electricity to the lamp....if you can't read a schematic....just uncover and follow the wires back to your fuse box...carefully....not causing any problems along the way.....removing the wire harness covering and inspecting the wires...physically...by feel or by sight....looking and feeling for a broken connection or burnt wire....use an amp meter to probe the electrical current if you know how to use one......somewhere within the wire run there will be your problem....the hard part is finding it....or if you are electrically inclined....rewire the whole run back to the fuse box....and even back to the switch on your dash.....it could be the switch in your dash is faulty and doesn't make a good connection to the one bad side when switched on....so use the amp meter to find where the electricity stops in the wiring....this will tell you approximately where the problem is....use the sharp pointed probe ends to check the wire conductivity inside the plastic wire wrapping, and make sure to have a good ground spot for the other probe end or other end with a ground clamp to attach to. I like the newer amp meters that open by depressing a thumb trigger and close around the wire to be checked, reading the current through the plastic coating just by being installed around the wire in question....no ground probe and no forcing a sharp end into a small wire stuff to deal with.....

turn the switch for the fog lamps on and start probing the entire system until you find the short or dis connection.... be careful when working on the cars electrical system....any work on wires in or around the area of your air bags should be done with a great deal of caution and preferably with the air bag system disabled. Don't be abusive to any other wires in the process...

Good luck and I hope I was of some help....

Head lamp harness

No - the worst electrical problem that the headlamp harness could cause is to short itself to ground somehow (bare wire, unplugged & turned on, etc), which would blow the headlight fuse.
However, dashboard problems can cause headlight problems, since the headlight switch is located in the dash.
The common point between the headlight problems, dashboard problems, and "electrical problems" would be the under-dash wiring and/or wiring harness from ECC (Engine Control Computer, aka "the car's computer) to the dashboard - check here first for grounding/shorting problems, or water leaking out of the in-dash vents onto a wiring harness.

Car to trailer wiring problem

most likely the trailer wires dont match the truck wires. you will need to verify that the truck is wired correctly and then that the trailer is wired to match your truck. problems usually arise after someone has BORROWED a tralier and made the trailer wires match THEIR truck trailer wiring here is standardized but people wire them up any way the can, and it causes problems when that trailer is borrowed or sold.
