SOURCE: Not Charging My battery Yamaha tzr 50

It's your stator. One set is obviously not working as you are getting about 2/3rds of the voltage you should be getting. Your regulator is probably OK as the voltage tends to over read if that's the problem. Your bike uses the same engine as the Aprilia RS50 so parts are fairly cheap 2nd hand..

My tzr 50 2004 will start and tick over but the moment to touch the throttle the rev needle goes mad and the bike back fire i thought it was my timeing and iv changed my stater and my woodruf key but...

check your wire up to the coil, not the HT lead but the small, they do short out and cause back firing
