2004 rsv fuel pump stays on, odom zero, use kill switch to stop, disconected alarm.

Disconnecting the alarm prevents the starter from turning and the fuel pump from running. Gotta fix the alarm system.

The pulsing could be the alarm module. When bike is turned of, you will get small draw for a minute or so and then it should go very low, below a miliamp or so. This is the alarm module setting itself. Check for this. Is battery gone flat while checks were being made? Make sure ignition switch is on when disconnecting battery if alarm (Stock HD) is fitted. If not, alarm module gets confused and can cause problems. The corrct procedure for disconnecting a battery from an alarm fitted HS is - alarm off, ignition switch on, pull main fuse (Maxi Fuse), disconnect battery. To fit, ignition stitch off, connect battery then install main fuse.

could be a loose conection or a reverse conection or even a disconected wire. i would just check everything that was disconected and look for any loose or disconected wires also check the batteries and vereify that it is charged

Hello You will have to reset your fuel pump switch located passenger side right foot kick panel when you press it it should stay down if this does not work your probably looking at a fuel pump not working.

sounds like a bad fuel pump or fualty aftermarket pump/also i would check the fuel pressure regulator,and for any fuel leaks. if you disconect vacuum line from regulator and check to make sure fuel is not coming out of regulator and vacuum line is good if engine stays running most likely the fuel pump.

Sounds like time for a new ignition switch. The 4000 rev is probably fuel going into the engine when engine runs down rpm while stopping.
