Wr250f 2005 Starting Problem

HiI was riding and the bike was running fine. I stopped for a 15min break didnt fiddle around with the bike but then couldn't start it?? Im not very mechanically inclined so i cant figure out what the problem is. I have change the spark plug, dont think there is any fuel blockage have tried electric start, roll start and kick start, adjusted the idle. Would be great if someone could help. Thanks

My bike runs, idles cuts at 40% if opened any further dies and does not recover unless closed, what is the problem?

Common idleing is corrected by points on many blades. Clean the points and reset distributor and timing. Check loose covers for water seapage and seal when recommended by the mnfctr.

03 wr250f fuel keeps dumping fuel in carb but runs/rides fine just when u leave sitting a puddle forms kinda like a harley? any info would be great...thx

The float on the carberator is sticking. Make sure your closing the petcock when not riding and this will stop the puddle.

My 1984 xr250r needs help!

well you can do the idle and maybe fiddle with the mixture screw right on the carb will be a screw and idle screw you need to turn this in 1/4 of a turn at a time with the bike running until it idle ok and the mixture screw you simply just fiddle with this turn it all the way in and unscrew it 2 turn and try this get back to me if not ok 91c5a07.jpg

How often for valce cleance on wr250f

it depends on how you ride the bike.. If you are constantly ridding it wide open you should check them more often.. but the usual time to check them would be around every ten or so hours.. if the bike dont want to start for you the valves are probally tight so check them

Wr250f 2001.riding bike reved and stopped wont kik properly

if this is a two stroke, then if you have run it out of fuel, there is no lubrication for the piston and you may have damaged the piston or piston rings, check the compression, esay test is remove sprk plug pit your finger hard into the hole and crank the bike over,if your finger gets pushed off with loud crack sound then compression should be ok,but if it doesnt and the preesure is very weak then you will be looking at a top end rebuild, hope this helps
