How often is this problem?
Does the engine oil level reduces?

If the engine oil is decreasing then it is the problem of your ring-piston.  The Head of engine will be opened & you have to change ring-piston, get it's slide adjusted on laithe machine.  If there is problem in pick up then also change clutch plates.

It's running to lean and thus the combustion chamber is to hot.
The ignition timing could be to advanced.

Oil got change. Bike will not start. Change the plugs in it. Check for spark. Act like it want to start but it won't start


if theres a spark at the spark plug then your problem is with fuel. take out spark plug and pour a cap full of fuel down the hole,put plug back in and try to start it. if the bike starts you could be lucky and it will keep running. if it dose not then you need to check fuel lines and carb.... putting a bit of fuel in the head should fire the bike up and hopefully fill the carb and lines to keep it going

burn out silencer packing or exaust leaks can burn a sparkplug , i guess your exaust system have lots of leaks that make the sparkplug fool and burn

The spark plugs on my 2007 buell xb9r keep carbonizing and my bike does not start when this happens. What can I do to keep this from happening?


Plug fouling is a common issue when the bike is started and turned off before reaching operating temperature. This often happens when people start the bike to hear the exhaust and then turn it off after revving it a few times. The easy solution is to ride more. Never start the bike unless you are actually going to ride it, and avoid short trips which do not allow the bike to warm up and recharge the battery.

2008 honda cbr125r the head lights on my cbr change from one side to the other pending on high or low beam is this normal or should they both be on at the same time?


The high and lo beam even on an Africa Twin are made separate so it dose not overload the charge manager of your bike. I tried wireing both of the bulbs in paralel and ended up burnig my battery charging unit.

So in conclusion they should not be on at the same time. The headlights operate fine on your bike.

My sons fuel injector light on his 2007 suzuki gsxr 600 keeps coming on. he had the bike checked out and they can not find anything worng. why would it keep coming on?


if bike has had after market muffler fitted the exup contol unit plug to original muffler will have been disconnected caused light to come on,you can buy a bridge plug that tricks ecu into thinking exup is still connected. if muffler still std bike will need to have fault codes read out with tester to see what problem is .

My bike keeps fouling my plugs i got a 2003 yamaha yz 125 i chucked a br8eg plug init and a new air filter but the problem just wont go away


Two things could be at fault here. First - it's a good possibility you would benefit from a new top end. Top ends go away fast in these because they are single ringers. Under hard riding, the compression starts to fall off after just 2 hours. Poor compression means lower combustion temperatures which will lead the bike to run rich.

The other possibility is that your jetting is off. If you have had this bike for a while and it's always run well then slowly started to act up, its likely poor compression, but if you recently got this bike and do not know the history of it, then it could be a simple jetting issue - not at all uncommon for 2-strokes.

Also - no need to run the BR8EG. This is a resistor plug and is a higher performance plug. If you are a top Pro rider, you could feel the difference but for 99% of riders they could not tell the difference between a BR8EG and a B8ES. The B8ES is readily available from auto parts stores (NGK stock #2411) for $1.89 instead of $12+ for a EG plug form a bike shop. This info alone could save you a bunch of money. Keep in mind the stock plug is BR9EG, so you are running one step hotter which is fine.

Also keep in mind there is a lot of information that I do not know, nor do I know the overall condition of the bike. Internet diagnosis is always tricky, but I thought I would point these things out. I hope this has helped, but if not - we need more detailed info to properly diagnose the problem.

usually 2 strokes foul plugs when the oil is two strong in my old bike i mixed the gas 40:1 try that and if it dosent work i would take it to your nearest dealer and get them to check it out

YZ 125 Keeps burnig piston & Ring on Exhaust side cant find problem on 4th or 5th piston & ring


only reason would be your running too lean. which causes more heat, which causes pre-gnition and pinging. Also if timing is off you create more pressure which in turn causes more heat

2001 Roadking Engine Misfire.


wrong plugs possibly installed, use standard range plugs i use NGK#8 and a lower octane for awhile see if that clears it up.
