The light is not a level indicator, it is a pressure indicator. Assuming you have the correct oil and the right amount of it, something caused your oil pressure to drop. My first suspicion is clogged oil pick up, but you should pull the oil pan and take a look.

It must be something about oil pressure. Or there is massive oil leek so you are on low oil level again or something with oil pump or filter.

What is oil change interval for pulsar 150 2007 model?

Every 2500 miles or 50 hours

In extreme conditions like heavy traffic - more frquently.
I suggest you look at the oil and see if its getting dark and breaking down.
the intervals are for normal riding conditions.

Just bought it used. no owner's manual. how do i check the oil level?

Here is the most accurate way to check the oil on your R-RT.

Ride bike till it is fully warmed up - 10 minutes
Park bike on side stand for 10 minutes or longer.... overnight.
Put bike on center stand and look at oil level window on lower left side of engine. Oil level should be inside the red circle. Do not overfill!!

The absolute best time to check the oil is when the engine is cold and all oil has drained out of oil cooler and lines into the engine sump. Usually before riding... Once properly broken in, your engine will consume very little oil.

Virago left on PRI and now won't start...

Check your oil level. If your carburetor overflowed and filled the engine with gas you may have fowled your air filter with oil/gas. If your level is too high you will have to change you oil. Also check your air filter to make sure is is not gas/oil fowled it may need changing.

Correct oil fuel ratio,1980 Pe 400

32 to 1 gas and oil > Two Stroke Engine Oil ( not Motor oil ). This equals 4ounces oil per gallon of gas.

Use premium unleaded gas. No Ethanol gas.

10w40 motor oil for the gearbox. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell.

Oil level for Suzuki TS 185 (1989)

Drain the oil and put 750ml back into the gearbox. If your bike doesn't have a dipstick and you have good, clean oil in it, drain it into a plastic bowl then put it right back into the engine but measure it before you pour it back in. When you get 750ml in the box then look at the level in the box. That is the level to maintain.

Pleas rate this solution. Thanks!

Oil issue

it really sounds like you have water in the oil or some other contaminant (bike wasn't run on Castor oil?) You probably want to drain oil into a clean container and flush system before you do serious damage. Bike is geting hot enough to boil off water?
