1986 Suzuki 250rm bogging while accelerating

If the engine idles okay and there were no modifications or jetting done to carburetors, I would check to see if the fuel filter is not clogging or if there might be water in gas tank. If the bike has been sitting for sometime, might need to run some fuel cleaner through the fuel system to clean out any build up that might be in the main jet circuits. Hope this helps.

I have a 2002 CR 125. Runs great but has black fluid that comes out of tail pipe after running. I feel it is running too rich. What should the air/ fuel mixture screw be set at?

The mixture screw is used to get the transition from idle to throttle up smooth, and not to bog.
Sounds like your jetting is to rich, or too big. Read your plug as it's probably black. Then go smaller on your pilot jet, run it and read it again. Make sure you run 32:1 mix, and jet the bike to match this.

My 02 yz250f has a very erratic idle. When slowing down it stays in a very high idle until it eventually dies down itself or i use the kill switch to bring it back to idle. Jetting is all perfect, ignition...

what you need to do is turn the screw on the right side of the engine with a flat head with the bike running it is suppose to bring the idle up or down... if not then take it to a mechanic before your engine blows. I to have had that before but it is simple to fix

yes it is starving for fuel. please put in a larger jet. you may want to go to the 3erd next higher one. remember you can add more air from the mixture screw.

Carb adjusting

get the bike started, hold the engine at a high idle. while holding the idle high, adjust the air fuel mixture screw until it sounds smooth. rev it up a few times and see if the engine is "snappier". let it return to an idle, then adjust the idle screw. it may take a few tries to get it right, just listen to the engine.. if this dont work, you may consider re-jetting the carb. hope this helps...

Crf250r starting problem

try jetting the bike. the hondas come stock with horrible jetting which make them a bear to start, even compared to other high-performance 4 strokes.
