Need motorcycle speakers for mp3 player on v-star 1100

I ride a Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic motorcycle and need speakers for my mp3 player.

We have a 2001 yamaha v star 1100 sounds like a valve knocking is it ok to ride it like that could it be spark plug or what ya think could be and how hard,to fix urself
