Question about 1990 Honda XR 250 R
Hey guys, I've just pulled my XR out of storage and i have have gave it a good service, giving it a new lease on life. I have just tried to start it but it shows no signs of firing. It has good spark and compression, but my spark plug is bone dry. Just wondering if anyone can give me ideas on what and how to check with the carby?
Make sure theres no **** on the bottom of the gas tank blocking the intake to the carb.

Your bike needs a barb clean, most likly it has a clogged pilot jet,and poss. need to replace float valve assy. when gas goes bad from unit sitting in storage it turns to nasty smelling green guo. you need to clean this out. Put fuel stabbleizer in tank next time you store it and drain float bowl so you don't have this prob.next time.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
