New drag bars for a '08 XL1200 Custom

I've been searching for some drag bars for my '08 XL1200C but, i'm unsure which are the best bars to go with or which ones would need the least amount of customizing to  brake line or wiring. If i need to move my blinkers where would be a place i could move them to.? This is my first bike and i do not want to do a hack job. Thanks.

Get a set of auxiliary lights and drop the turn signals out of them (like a dresser). Looks pretty cool, and the bullets won't bite into your tank!

VIBRATION AT 60 TO 65 MPH

Hi Jerry, and the usual suspects are:
1. Wheels and or tires unbalanced, worn or damaged.
2. Engine/transmission/vehicle not aligned properly.
3. Primary chain badly worn or links tight as a result of insufficient lubrication or misalignment.
4. Engine to transmission mounting bolts loose.
5. Upper engine mounting bracket loose.
6. Ignition timing incorrect/poorly tuned engine
7. Internal engine problem/ flywheel shift runout should be .003" max.
8. Broken frame
Good luck and have nice day.

I blew out the cross over on my stock pipes on my 2002 xl1200. I was given a set of 2" drag pipes. Is there any carb. adj I need to do to keep from damaging my bike?

It's quite possible that you'll have to adjust the jetting in your carburetor. But, there is not set rule as to what you need to do. Usually, you must richen the mixture a bit but how much, only test after installing the pipes will tell. The best thing to do is to find a performance oriented shop with a dynometer and an exhaust gas analyzer. Have them check the fuel-air mixture and make any necessary jet changes. That way, you know it's right.

Good Luck
Steve
