Question about 2003 Suzuki LS 650 Savage
My savage was sitting for a couple months and when I went to ride it wouldn't start. I bought a new battery but when i push the starter nothing happens, no noise, nothing. All my lights come on but I don't get a crank or anything. Just no noise whatsoever.
Dump the fuel, go with a new spark plug, hightest gas and clean the carb. it will start rite up. if not its not just from sitting. but this should work. Bob,

Try the connections on the starter and the solenoid they could have corrosion which will affect the starter.if they are corroded just clean them up with a wire brush.

SOURCE: Can u fit a Suzuki
The new engine is NOT going to slide right in. You would need to cut the frame tubes, add tube sections and then cut off and move engine mount tabs on the frame. Another problem will be the alignment of the front sprocket to the rear sprocket. A wider engine than the old one will stick out on the right side. This would affect the balance of the bike and cause a squirrelly ride. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
