Clutch cable broken, or to loose. That's the most cheap and easy to check.
It could also be that the spring inside the clutch housing is worn and needs to be replaced. Still not that expensive but a little harder to get too.
third and final possibility is that the clutch plate is stuck...for what ever reason, maybe lack of lubrication, maybe after 10 years needs to be replaced.
That's three options and three solutions, I hope it's the first, so it's quickly fixed and you can get back to riding again...Greetings, Gilbert.

Hi i am looking at buying a honda nsr 125. There is one that needs a new clutch cable and and throttle cable from brake pipe. could you tell me how much a honda dealer would charge to repair this? thank yo

I would not buy the bike until the current owner fixes it. Then you can test ride the bike before buying it. For all you know, the transmission and clutch are trash. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Why does my yz 80 1993 stall when im not moving and i put it in gear, (the bike has to be rolling to be pust in gear)

Your clutch is grabbing, adjust the cable so that it pulls harder on the clutch. If this does not help you may need to take the cluth out and inspect it for bad springs or damage

Honda 125 nsr 1990 wont idle and engine races

sounds like your throttle cable might be frayed or broken, when you pull the throttle and let go does it go back on its own? and can you here a clicking sound when you close the throttle? If you could send me pictures of the carb how every thing goes in and take it apart and take pictures, that would be helpful.

Loss of power

Clutch slippage would be a possibility. While rolling in 5th gear mid-range in the rpm band give the bike a lot of throttle. Do the rpms rise significantly without the speed of the bike increasing? If so you may need a new clutch or possibly just new springs. If you have put any oil additive it is possible your clutch friction plate(s) became contaminated.
