Question about 2004 Yamaha YZ 250 F

I have a yamaha YZ 250 F. The oil has become milky yellow. Does this mean there is water in the oil and how did it get there?

The most common reason for this to happen is the head gasket has blown resulting in water getting into your oil. not really a big job to fix for a competant mechanic. hope this helps.

2004 yzf bigbore over heats why???


Oil it water level, or if it has a water pump, it might not be working, or there is some buildup or a hole in your radiator hose. Tons of reasons. Check and see if your oil is milky. Could be a piston ring issue. Gaskets leaking in your manifold. Too many reasons but those are some to start with.

05 yz250f milky oil


milky oil is water mixed into the oil. Replacing the seals should fix the leak. Nothing special on the top end gasket.

well when you have water and oil both leaking it most of the time means a head gasket or in your case a jug gasket

water pump / inner,seal needs looking into .

Water leak/mixing with oil


change the seal behind the water pump impeller
the shifter shaft seal will stop leaking
if it continues to mix water and oil you will have to change the head gasket
