My 2004 kx 250f often starts with one kick when cold but after that even after 1-10 minutes idling if it needs to be started again it will take 15-25 kicks..

Dont twist the throttle at all when starting the warm/hot engine. The carb has a diaphragm fuel pump that gives a shot of gas each time you crack the throttle open. It is very easy to flood the bike.

Gets hot

1 coolant level
2 coolant flow (the water pump fins could be damaged)
3 radiator fins are clean and clear of mud and debris
