Hello, i have a yamaha dt 125 r motorcycle and I have a problem release the front chain gear because the whole engine turns while i am trying to remove the nut from the gear.W hat should i do?

Did you try an impact driver? How about putting the bike in low gear? If not, just get a breaker bar on there an whack it with a brass hammer. I'm pretty sure it is a right hand thread. Hope this helps.

I have a Yamaha DT125R 2003 and am looking to increase the ride height. On either side of the back wheel there is a cog with numbers on, I presume if I loosen the bolt and adjust this it will change the...

the cog as you discribe it is the chain tensioner for the back wheel. look at the rear shocker and you will see 2 castlated locking nuts this is how you adjust the rear suspension,by undoing 1 of them you adjust the other then tighten the other onto it making sure they are both tight together
