Question about 2003 Suzuki RM 125

I need to lean up my carborator and dont know which way to turn the screw. dont have manual.

Dont turn te screw... First drop your needle on the inside of the carb with one groove and the try it.
If the problem persist the turn the screw outwards to add more air to lean out the mix.

1.5 to 2.5 depending on altitude. turn it all the way in and back it out to min first, if wont run smoothly continue out by quarter turns.
make slow adjustments and rev it up several times between adjustments to allow for idle settings and float response.

Ok most likely cause for this is jetting (Carbi) and or the air / fuel mix screw set to rich - Well done for noticing though as no where near enough people read their spark plugs and make adjustments - they normally wait til bike don't work before researching?
Simplest and first option would be turn in your air/fuel mix screw quarter to half a turn in (clock wise) this leans the fuel mix slightly
Second option if still not helping from just screw adjustment is put the mix screw back to where it was before and change the pilot jet to a smaller size - the pilot jets have number stamped on them so once you have yours out look for the number and just buy new 1 or 2 sizes smaller (they only about $5 each) then of course go back to fine adjustments on your air/fuel mix screw to find the correct balance
You will very quickly know if your setting is to lean as result of adjustments as you will get back firing when rolling of the throttle if becomes to lean
jetting and air fuel mix adjustments can be annoying sometimes as you may need to go up a bit then down a bit then up again but take your time do very minor adjustments then check results and my tip is only ever change one thing at a time then record the change then test and record the result if you dont you will very quickly forget what you did, not know what to reverse if result was poor and if result was good you won't know exactly what made the improvement.

I need the carborator float bowl adjustment for my kaw zg 1000 1998 I know that it is the same for the eliminator.

r u sure--chec in a clymer manual or ask a dealer tech--too lean will burn an engine--too rich fouls plugs

Mixture screw setting dont want to buirn her out

i would love to help but i need to know the type of bike you have and the year to get you that info..but the simple answer is the farther in the screw the leaner it gets the farther out the richer the mixture....lean is bad you want it a little rich i say bring the pin all the way in then 3 full turns or clicks out should do it. if it sounds like popcorn it is still to lean turn it out a little more let me know if this helps

Where is the mixture screw on a suzuki 125cc intruder vl 2008, as it appears to be running rich and no manual, plugs get black and wet.

the mixture screw is underside of carb,if its between cylinder and front side of carb its fuel/air,to lean turn screw clockwise,if its between backside of carb and air box/filter,its air/fuel,turn screw counter clockwise to lean,adjust with 1/8 turn at a time.

on the bottom of the carb there is a brass plug that will need to be drilled out and the air fuel mixture screw needs to be removed and cleaned. be sure to turn it in all the way and count the turns to put it back to factory settings. make sure when you turn it in that you only turn it until it bottoms out dont turn it to hard as you can damage the needle. There is a small washer and an o-ring in there as well as the spring dont loose these when cleaning or disassembling the needle. I hope this helps. the air fuel mixture can be adjusted there also by turning it in or out a 1/4 turn at a time till it runs right. You will just have to play with it unless you have a EGA Machine.

It sounds like you may have or will be jetting your carbs. I did this using the directions with the kit and used the Clyman manual for this bike to show me step by step how to remove the carborator. You will only need to attach 2 of the 4 hoses on your carb. syncronizer. If I remember right, you need to remove the bolt-on cooling fins to expose the engine block. The is a black screw or bolt that you take out and screw the threaded metal adapter of the sync tool. Be careful using the sync tool. Be very light on the throttle or the vacuum in the cylinder will **** in the mercury from the sync tool - not good. The problem you are stating on idle & backing off sometimes happens when the carbs are running rich (too much fuel) Hope that gets you in the right direction.

Waht is the starting setup for the carburator setting screws for my Honda CR125 motocross?

The idle screw and the air screw adjustment is as follows > IMPORTANT > do not tighten these two screws down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each screw one and one half turns outward. Set the idle speed with the idle screw. This should get you back on the road.
