Use the current checking ability on a multi meter and check each fuse (battery connected, key off). If you have a circuit that is drawing power that is not supposed to you have narrowed down the problem area.

Post back with your results if you need more help.

It is certainly possible for the TSSM module to cause that, but if it were the problem you should have been able to tell by the current drop when you disconnected that fuse. Unless your TSSM is connected directly to the battery and then goes to the fusebox afterward? That would be a crazy & shocking fire hazard if the factory set it up that way but possible I suppose. Are you using a manual with wiring diagrams in it or just eyeballing? I think a wiring diagram would help you trace the problem.

Okay first, check the Batt cables for broken or loose connection!
Then check the fuse's box under the seat for a blow fuse ...
Then I suggest to check the cable from the Batt to the starter.!

Recently purchased the Sony DSC-W290 and I have

how long do you usually charged the batt? to make charge last slightly longer leave the batt inside the charger for an hour after the charger light goes off. if you have a fully charged batt you should be able to take approx. 300 pics or 2.5hrs approx.batt life. for viewing pics it should give you approx. 6800 pics and approx. 5.5 hrs. of course, number of still images and and batt life may vary depending on the camera if you're zooming in and out, using the flash, going from camera to play mode, turning cam on and off, using other settings and features of the camera, this will cause the batt to drain much faster.also ambient temperature also affects batt life.if it's very cold, the batt drains a bit faster.also, it's recommended that if you're not using the camera to remove the batt.retaining the camera settings, date & time will cause batt to drain even if your not using it. if did this and still you think it's odd that your batt drains quickly and looses charge even if it's fully charge, it might also indicate that what you might be a defective batt. one way to find out is to try using the same type of batt from a friend or a relative that has one to confirm and further isolate issue.anyway, supplied accessories has the same warranty that applies to your you may send it out and have it replaced if needed.hope this helps.thanks:)

Electrical drain on batt

Check the rear interior light is not continually on in the boot/trunk. Also check the glove compartment light is also not on even when the lid is shut as they warp and allow the switch to stay on. And finally, sit in the car and close the doors. Look at the red markers which are on the end of the doors. At night, you will see these and they should go off. If they don't, then one of your door switches in the lock mechanism is faulty. Has been known for the alarm units to go faulty and draw excess current too. If it is none of these, then stick an ammeter on the battery and pull the fuses one by one until the current draw is reduced. The batteries on these cars only last 3 years before they should be replaced too. It might even be just a dead battery.
