That is most likely your weep hole and it means your water pump seal is leaking. You should rebuild the pump at a time that is convenient to you rather than have the pump quit on you while you are riding some day. I have had a tiny leak for years, but sometimes they go fast.

next is rust holes at the welsh plugs , normally at the back plugs in the block
check under the water pump housing for a small drain hole
this hole is used to drain water away from the bearings when the seal fails

Should a sump pump pit have holes in the walls and where dose the water drain to

Water in electric dishwashers drains into the sewer line. The holes in the walls are to keep small diameter drain line from clogging. Keep the holes clear.

I have 2006 voltswagon jetta 2.5 it's got a small oil Leak coming from a small knoch on the bottom of the motor can the knoch be pplugged

if this small "knoch" is a hole then it is best to get a replacement sump. steel sumps have to be removed and properly cleaned and then it is possible to have it welded by a professional welder as the oil in the metal makes welding difficult. and plug considered will only leak when the oil is hot and may not be successful

Why would water be coming out of a small hole on the side of the motor

You dont say what type of vehicle, so assuming its a car type engine it is possible you have a leaking welsh plug. If you put you finger where the leak is you should find an indentation, which if correct, is the welsh plug. Dont try and repair yourself, have a technician do it as they are not easy.

Anti flood device activated built in ikea dishwasher

If you open the door and lie on the floor under it you can screw off the panel under the door (5 screws on ikea's enest?ende machine) if it is the same system. The pan underneath is easily accessed then. I couldn't get our pan out so the water can either be sucked up with a hoover or battery window cleaner or cloth. Once the water is gone the anti-flood system stops. Tried it yesterday. Then you just have to find out why it leaked in the first place!!!!

LG LFC21760ST: In freezer area floor, there is ice build-up. Water is leaking from the back wall where two horizontal openings are (near the center). We've turned off the water for the ice maker but this...

If you shut off the water to the ice maker, the only other cause is a plugged drain hole. Somewhere around the bottom of your freezer there will be a small hole that allows moisture to drain out of the freezer and into a catch pan under the refrigerator. If this hole is plugged with ice then the water has no where to drain but out the door of the freezer and puddling on your floor. The water you see dripping is condensation that has built up in the freezer itself.

To fix this problem, you need to dislodge/remove the ice from the bottom of the freezer and the hole. I have had the best luck using warm water with a turkey baster. Another alternative would be an ice pick or any type of utensil that can be safely used to dislodge the ice from the whole and the bottom of the freezer. I prefer the water method because it is the safest. Ideally what you want to do is force warm water in small quantites down the hole. This will melt the ice and reopen the drainage. You then need to remove any ice around the bottom of the freezer using warm water. When done make sure to dry the bottom of the freezer.

Oo.comI am getting water in the bottom of the refrigerator enough for it to leak out the front and spill onto the floor. I believe it is coming down the back wall. How can I fix it?

the drain hole for the evaporator drain pan is plugged, you need to remove rear panel in freezer inside wall, thaw out any ice in the drain hole located under the evaporator coil, then take a small wire and rod-out this drain hole till you get water coming out the end of this tube at the pan located near the bottom of the machine near the compressor

Ac keeps leaking down

The drain water from the bottom of the cooling fin tray has a sump from which there is a small hose that exits the water through a small opening to the outside. While the carpets are cleaned or removed there is a possibility that this flexible hose would have come off from the platform or the hose disconnected from the sump tray. So look under the dash beneath the AC unit for the hose and either plug the hose into the drain or into the sump but only with an investigation.Hope you try this out. Good day

How to troubleshoot toilet sump pump?

Unplug the sump pump. Bail out the sump pump to expose the pump's machinery.

Inspect the rod attached to the motor on the top of the sump pump. Move it up and down manually to see if it moves smoothly. Corrosion will keep the rod from moving smoothly. Clean the float road with steel wool.

Inspect the float ball. If it contains water, you need to replace it. Unscrew the float ball from the end of the float rod and screw on a replacement float ball.

Inspect your sump pump's check valve. It has an arrow on it. The arrow should be pointing away from the pump. If it's pointing towards the pump, remove and reinstall the check valve.

Locate the small weep hole between the check valve and the pump. Clean it out with a pipe cleaner.

Inspect the impeller, which is the fan-like piece that sits near the bottom of the pump's tank. If it is clogged by debris, then it will not turn properly. Unbolt the impeller and clean away any debris you find. Reinstall the impeller with new gaskets and sealant. Locate and replace the mesh filter in the sump pump, since only a damaged or missing filter would allow debris to get near the impeller.
Below is troubleshooting work, web link, through to assist you in that.
