Question about 2003 Honda GL 1800 Gold Wing
I have a 2002 1800, after a while of not riding there's no suddenly no Audio out of the speakers.
The only exception is a slight crackle sound when I first turn on the ignition key. While the key is on, if I turn the radio off and then on again no crackle.
The tuner seems to work fine, since the Stereo light comes on for stations that are strong, and flickers on the ones that are normally weak / out of range.I have checked all fuses and their all good and I cleaned the post on the fuses to make sure they make good connection but no luck yet.
The crackle sound is the elctric current from your ignition switch flowing into your speaker wires, if the ignition(key) already is on you dont hear it you say, so it must be that the ignitionwire at some point makes connection with your speakercable.
