Question about 2003 Honda GL 1800 Gold Wing

Speaker not working

I have a 2002 1800, after a while of not riding there's no suddenly no Audio out of the speakers.

The only exception is a slight crackle sound when I first turn on the ignition key. While the key is on, if I turn the radio off and then on again no crackle.

The tuner seems to work fine, since the Stereo light comes on for stations that are strong, and flickers on the ones that are normally weak / out of range.I have checked all fuses and their all good and I cleaned the post on the fuses to make sure they make good connection but no luck yet.

The crackle sound is the elctric current from your ignition switch flowing into your speaker wires, if the ignition(key) already is on you dont hear it you say, so it must be that the ignitionwire at some point makes connection with your speakercable.

Yamaha NS-AP6500M/NS-AP6500E One speaker works when all are tested but does not whit media sources

that would depend on the channel.
I've seen people complaining that one channel was blown while operating in 5.1 mode, but then in 6.1 suddenly and magically worked...it was just a speaker connected to the wrong output on the avr... start with checking that.
if that is not the issue, than it is possible that the input in just stereo and the output for the dsp is not set to copy stereo to all channels...but this should be noticeable in more speakers...rather all except left and right frontals.

All of a sudden I have no sound at all regardless of what the input is. Any thoughts or has it just died. I've had this for many years.

The sound for my Yanaha RX-V665 suddenly stopped working for all componemts as well as the tuner. Everything comes on but there is zero sound. I have unhooked everything except one speaker. Any ideas

Try the speaker select switch on the front panel. you'd be surprised at how easy it is to accidentally turn it off or switch it to B speakers.

Speakers stopped working suddenly? how can i fix iy?

Hello
A sudden stop of sound output while the set works denotes either its speaker or audio output IC damaged. Check the speaker first by using a multimeter for its voic coil continuity. If speaker is OK, the fault is surely with the audio output IC. It should be replaced with same type and number. It is a semi-skilled work, you have to open your tV, locate the audio output section. You must have knoledge in electronics to do this work. OK.

My subwoofer is not working

This is due to the over use subwoofer but this can be fixed using the technician for making the subwoofer clear, but over use will make the subwoofer more complaint.

I purchased a new computer and after hooking everything up, everything works except I have no audio. I believe the speakers are internal to this monitor.

Double check that you have the speaker cable plugged into the proper jack (audio out - green) on the computer. Make sure that the audio hasn't been muted and that it is set for the correct output type (if you have a multi-channel audio option).

Try a standalone set of speakers to check if the audio driver for the on-board audio or sound card is working.

I hope this helps.

(I've found that the integrated speakers will fail before the monitor does. Since the integrated speakers are low-end and similar speakers are fairly cheap, get new speakers of a quality you like. Repairing the speakers isn't worth it.)

No audio suddenly

It possible but unlikely that your speakers are bad. First what you want to do is try to see if its not the source. IE cable, dvd, bd or video game. Try replacing wires.

If that fails, (Depending on the set) replace main board. If its a slightly older set main and terminal. I don't have access to sharps website at this moment to see the exploded view of this set.
