John Tucker I have a1997 Vulcan 800 and pulled the emissions system off because I installed an aftermarket air cleaner, the problem is the carb., fuel tank for the most part run on vacuum and when I pulled off the system I lost the vacuum. The bike ran great but I lost a lot of gas mileage at best only getting 34 miles to the Gallon when I should be getting around 45 to 50 to the gallon so I reinstalled the system except for the charcoal canister day lighted the carb vent line, vacuum switch hose at the very bottom nipple, ran the crank case vent line over to the chain, hose from the bottom of the pump out the bottom of the bike since these lines were day lighted (open to air) to the back plate of the original air cleaner. The after market air cleaners do not have the nipples for the connection of hoses like the original air cleaner.

I have a Kaw vulcan 750. I removed all the CA emissions and air box and installed new jets. I have adjusted every thing from the mains to the needles. I chokes out at low to med speed. What am I doing...

You removed all the CA emissions and air box? If it is legal in your home state then it would be fine otherwise you are not going to be happy if the Government found out your illegal modifictions unless it is for off-road purposes.
Did you reinstall the air box again and use an air filter?
If you didnot then install it back and see a difference.

What's involved in replacing the stator on a 93 Vulcan 750?

Not a big deal. Just remove the left engine cover and you will find the stator bolted to it. Remove the three bolts holding the stator and the stator will then be free to come apart from the cover.

What do i need to remove, and how to replace a stator on a 1996 v7

The stator comes off with the right front side cover If I recall correctly. All you need is a set of metric wrenches.

Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?

Looking for information on removing the california emission system on a 97 vulcan 750 motorcycle

The best advice I can give you is DON'T DO IT. Alteration of original equipment emission control devices is prohibited under Federal law Title II, 40CFR, better know as the Clean Air Act. Since the engine was designed with the emission controls as an integral part of the engine, instead of the power and performance robbing junk slapped on to vehicles in the late 70's and the early 80's, alteration will not give you any significant performance improvements.
