Can someone explain how to remove the rear tire on my 2001 Yamaha 1100 classic please.

Do you mean remove the wheel? tires are best left to a shop to do as they have the machine. drive shaft yes? undo all bolts thru frame to final drive casing. slacken wheel nut but do not remove spindle, pull wheel back and out of the frame the drive shaft comes with it, tace out spindle and now lift final drive from wheel, there may be a spacer which might fall out. done deal..

What's the widest rear tire that can be installed on a 2002 vstar 1100 classic without a drive train modification


With out modification to the drive train you can go up one more tire size than stock as lond as you have clearance on both sides of the tire any where around the back of the bike.
