Question about 1986 kawasaki ZL 900 A2 Eliminator
My motor is missing & I found anonmatalic oratleast ait isn"t magnetic shavings in the oil .
This is a very bad sign and usually means the pistons have been scarred by a foreign object or you bearings have worn beyond usability. you should not run the bike while it is like this as it will progressivly get worse till it seizes up completely

im afraid yeah with new bearings? there is unfortunatley very few ways of getting anything into the sump other than oil. if it is metal and sticking to the plug it will def be bearings and if not usually piston ring which is equivilent to above. really sorry have to tell ya. i myself have a kawasaki zxr 636 with full skimmed head and all the trimmings but i only installed all the trimmings due to mismanagement of my standard engine and sufferedc same problems?
