Question about 1998 Honda CB 250 Nighthawk

Suzuki SX200 become malfunctioned after 20 mns of starting

When u turn it on at the morning it is quite good.but after driving about 20 mns it become malfunctioning at the low RPM.

Have you had any engine work done recently? if so maybe the heat from your engine is pushing your head gasket apart and causing lack of compression. also the reed valves are prone to wearing and again loosing compression.

I have a 1993 gsxr 750w with an aftermarket tail and when I hook all the directionals up only the front work. If the back Is connected by its self they work.


Hi, Steven you need a load equalizer before diagnosing any turn signal/running light/parking light issue make sure the bulb is good and the light fuse has continuity with a test light. If you have replaced you OEM lights with LED lights you are going to need a load equalizer. If no turn signals work the cause could be a faulty turn signal module or the connector going to it, look for corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets. Contact spray cleaner is great for removing corrosion. If your speedometer does not function properly it will have to be fixed first because your turn signal module gets the data from the speedometer for normal turn signal function. If your front turn signals don't work use a test light to check for power and ground at the bulb socket, then start backtracking the wiring through every wire connector to the turn signal switch/button and check for continuity, go all the way back to the fuse if necessary to find the cause of the malfunction. If your rear turn signals don't work check your rear fender wiring harness connector first for corroded, broken, loose pins/sockets, power, and a good ground, (the harness connector is usually located under the seat on the front of the rear fender) then keep tracing the wiring look for obvious harness damage caused by the rear tire. If you still can't find the malfunction backtrack from the rear fender wiring harness connector. If one side does not work you could have a faulty turn signal switch or module check for continuity. Turn key on turn kill switch to on position i hear fuel pump pull clutch in then hit starter button only a whirring sound not clicking and wont start has a new battery Suzuki boulevard c109rt


Hi, Kurt the starter drive/Bendix is a mechanical gear driven component that engages the clutch pack ring gear to turn over the engine. It has an internal mechanism that allows the gear to turn in one direction and once the engine starts allows the drive gear to free spin. If gear free spins in both directions then the drive gear has failed it is not serviceable and needs to be replaced. My bike starts fine in the morning,rode it to work ,which is a 20 mile ride. when i stop turn it off and try to start it back up i get nothing.yet when i let it sit while im at work get back on at the end...


1st make sure all connections and grounds are tight. you said you can jump or push start when hot,this sounds like a classic charging system problem, have your regulator and stator checked.

I have a 97 suzuki gsxr with 17000 miles i have problem starting it in the mornings


when you turn the ignition on, turn it on till you hear the fuel pump but dont start it. If you do that about five or six time and it starts, then you have air getting into your lines at night and the system is repreasurizing in the morning. Also could just be the cold start valve/injector is cloged or old.

I have the Suzuki GS 750E, the spark plugs are constantly becoming fouled, how do i correct this problem


sounds like its running to rich, check your air filter is clean, set your carb mixture ,
turn the screws in untill they bottom out ,but dont turn to hard !(they have a fine needle point end and are easy to break leaving the broken point inside the carb making adjustment impossible )back all four screws out 1.5 turns and start from there.run the bike and adjust from there to rich turn out to lean ( weak turn in )

Motorcycle just turn off


the CDI unit could be faulty and send wrong information and shuts down the power . Once its colder you bike can start .
I have had a similar problem and had to change the unit .
Have a look at your battery and make sure its not dry .
the electronics can play a big part and the CDI is a regulator and ignition unit which will cut all power if its faulty and you will not start the bike once its dead

My dr 250 1984 has low compression


your carb got stuck and it sounds like your rings are burnt out like u were running to high of an octane or something in your gas

99 suzuki katana 600 exhaust issue startup problem.. help..??


try adjusting the idle adjustment screw. it should cut out the backfiring problem. i had the same problem and it helped me !!!
