Park the Honda Foreman on flat ground and leave the engine running for 5 minutes to allow the engine to warm up. Place the oil drain pan under the crank case drain plug. Turn the engine off.

    • 2
Remove the drain plug from the under side of the crank case using the ratchet set. Allow the engine oil to drain into the oil pan. Replace the plug to the bottom of the crank case and tighten the plug using the ratchet set.

Remove the small screw from the side of the crank case using the Allen wrench. Remove the cap labeled "OIL" from the top of the crank case. Insert the funnel into the hole where the oil cap was.

    • 4
Pour Honda 4-stroke engine oil into the funnel until the oil starts to come out of the hole where the small screw was on the side of the crank case. Once the oil starts to come out of the hole, stop pouring and replace the screw. Remove the funnel and replace the oil cap to the top of the crank case.

Where are the fuses located on an 06 street glide

Hi Jerry, 1992 and later touring models, fuel pump fuses and relays will be behind the right side panel, everything else will be behind the left side panel to access fuses pull back on the front two locking tabs and slide the cover up. Good luck.

Where is the fuse box located

moz-screenshot.png Remove the left side cover, look near the middle and you will see a black rectangular box mounted sideways. the main fuse is under the panel on the right side behind the forks and the rest of the fuses are in the crank case under the cover...where you fill the oil.

Temp gauge comes on as soon as i start my bike. also the coolant fan will not run. what should i check to fix this problem?

Do you have coolant? The coolant reservior is located behind the left side crank case cover. If you need to add coolant, be sure to use a coolant that is compatible with an aluminum radiator. Alcohol based coolants will destroy your radiator in short order. While you have the left side crank case cover off, check the fuses in the fuse box just aft of the coolant reservior for the fan problem.

is there a casing close to where the leak is if so then you could have a cracked seal on that casing be very careful not to run the bike to much and always keep an eye on the oil levels top up until problem fixed

I need to change the oil in my 2001 harley davidson sporster, i cant find the oil drain plug, for the engine oil, i found the oil drain plug for the crank case but not for the engine oil

It's on the left hand side just below the battery or just behind the primary cover of the engine in the rear. it's either a large diameter hose with a tee in it that has one hose plugged or a short section of hose that is plugged onto a large stud on the frame.

Whats the procedure for changeing air filters in a yamaha royal star tour deluxe 2005

This procedure must be performed on both sides - you'll find the air filter cases mounted high, immediately behind the cowlings. Yamaha specifies removing the cowlings, but I just remove the top screw in the front of the cowling and bend it forward slightly to get to screws and bolts.

The air cleaner cases are mounted by hex-head screws top and bottom; loosen them, then look for a large rubber hose from the case to a duct beside the case. The case is held by a flexible clamp with a phillips-head screw adjustment - loosen the screw and the case can be removed.

Turn the case so that the rubber hose is facing up; there are five screws holding the case halves together. Remove them to split the case. The filter is secured to the side of the case that the rubber hose joins, loosen the two screws in the front (forward-facing) of the filter and remove.

Secure new filter with the screws that held the old one, rejoin the case halves, put the case behind the cowling, secure the rubber hose to the duct, screw top and bottom bolts through the case to their mounts, tighten cowling mounts.

Repeat on the other side and you're done!

Replacing the oil filter

Firstly drain the oil from the crank case (it's an Allan bolt at the bottom on the left hand side). when it's completely empty of oil on the right hand side of the crank case bang in the middle of it you'll find a round chrome cover remove that and the oil filter is there.

if you don't see an air box prominent...remove your saddle and the airbox and filter is under the saddle...your bike manual should cover this
