Lighting problem for spotlights

I just bought spotlights for my bike. Wired them up and they don;t work. I thought at first that it was a ground problem but then I wired them to my headlight and the same problem so I rewired them to the normal spot. Tonight I'm going to run a test wire straight from the battery to the lights to make sure they work. My question is where can I get a wiring diagram for my bike it's a 2002 Kawaski Vulcun VN1500 Classic. Any help in this would be great.

Might be one in your owner's manual. Otherwise you could get a repair manual (Kawasaki, Clymer or Haynes).

My sons Buell Blast got Stolen we got it back they had cut the wires going to the ignition switch when we re cnnected it eveything works but Taillight and gauge lights have replaced the fuses any Idea

Something isn't wired right or one of the connectors somewhere has a wire pulled out in it. Check for a bad ground too. Too many things get messed with when a bike gets stolen.

Replaced Aprilia rs50 2006 indicators with LED ones + LED flasher relay though they light up but DON'T FLASH?

I am not a electronic wizz but i believe the led's will light up but do not have enough resistance to cause the internal breakers to work.
I found this.
The post that had the link said that it fixes fast blink and no blink conditions. http://www.greggscustoms.com/instruc...istor_Inst.pdf

This can malfunction and cause same stalling problems.

Wiring problems on 2000 Harley 883 Sportster Motorcycle. Bike was dropped busting right rear turn signal assembly. I replaced that turn signal, but it does not work. Wiring seems totally wierd as what...

If you have two wires that go to the turn signal and they don't work one way. You could try them switched around.
This is for a turn signal that is NOT also a running light. (Yellow Lens to Rear)
Use a test light and turn on the turn signal test both wires with the test light clipped to the ground or chassis of the bike. The wire that causes the light to blink will be the positive or hot side. That wire should attach to the bottom of the bulb.
The other wire is the Ground or common and that should attach to the side of the bulb holder.

Re wired 1971 650 triumph up dated electrial on

Did you use a Typanium Recitifier? There should be no problems unless it is a used one. All the new ones I havew used just "bolt on" .. there are 5 wires. Check to see if you don't have a grounded wire some where.. try it with the head light off.. I usually wire my bikes to start with no head light with a 3 way switch.. once running I can then turn the light on. Go through an check all your wires again, you might just have a bad connection somewhere.. here is an excellent site .. Jim http://www.raskcycle.com/techtip/webdoc16.html

Signal lights on R1 don't work...

Though I can't recall what the wire colors are for your bike's turn signals, here's how to figure it out: on the turn signals that you bought, first determine which wire is the ground by removing the light bulb and then checking to see which wire has continuity to the turn signal's metal bulb socket base.
Then find out which wire is the running light and which is the turn signal by hooking the ground wire and one of the other wires to a 12 volt power source. Which ever wire makes the brighter part of the bulb light up is the turn signal - the dimmer one is for the running light.
On the bike, match the turn signal wire to the bike's wiring that is 'hot' with the turn signal switch on. Plug the running light wire from the turn signal into the bike's wiring that is 'hot' whever the key is on. Hook the turn signal ground wire to the bike's ground wire(s).

The indicacors have stopped working

sounds like a bad ground, trace where the wires go and check out the grounds, if you have a test light clip it on the frame to ground it and then turn indicators on and put pointy end on the ground wire connection.
