Bike still runs and quite well, just these issues happen, and i might ride for an hour and they might come back on

Gap your plugs to 38 thou. Check all your bulbs (one burned out will affect the rest) Take a look at all your fuses and make sure they are all ok. Otherwise you are probably looking at a wiring short which will require trouble shooting of the elctrical system. Buy your self a service manual for your bike, this will help you a lot.

I suspect a clogged fuel filter, but also check air filter. Take a flash light and look for crud in the tank. If you have to, go get a gas can of fuel, and dump the old gas. Five week old gas usually is not a problem, unless it was bad to start with...ie - bottom of the tank at the gas station.

You really need a schematic to determine what equipment is on the circuit protected by this fuse. I do not have schematics for the late model machines, only a few earlier models. Some of the equipment supplied by this fuse are connected by sub-harnesses with plugs on them. If you unplug a sub-harness and the fuse stops blowing, then you know it's something on that leg of the circuit. You may have to take the tanks and the seat off to access the plugs.
Good Luck

Hi, Sounds like you have a bad ignition switch. Also check alternator, so that battery is charging.
Do a test for me, start engine disconnect battery. If alternator is working you should have light and horn. Stop, engine reconnect battery. This will give you a better idea where the problem lies.
Good luck.
