if coolant is coming out of the spark plug hole you have likely blown a head gasket or the block or cyclinder is cracked. are you sure that is coolant ?

Head gasket is bad. check for damage due to ever heating, or loose bolts if some one worked there before.

Roketa 125cc wont start! spark plug is not giving off spark?

Check the lead and connections between the coil and the plugs, the battery and the coil. If all else fails check the battery charge.

My 2 stroke trials bike wont start. I thought id gone into reserve tank when the engine just died. Got heaps of compression still when i kick it over and it was running ok up until this point. Do you...

Hi, Christopher and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded as a result of overuse of the enricher.
5. Vacuum hose to the fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.
6. Fuel valve/petcock or filter clogged.
7. Discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
8. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
9. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
10. Ignition timing incorrect due to a faulty ignition coil, ignition module or sensors (MAP, CMP, CKP, O2 and/or BAS).
11. Security alarm needs a reset.

Engine will not start

I am not real familiar with you bike but I may be able to help you trouble shoot it. Is the motor trying to turn over? If not it may be your starter. You should be able to tell by the sound. If its sounds normal starting up but wont turn on. You want to check and see if your spark plugs are good. Take them out and touch the threaded part of the spark plug to an unpainted piece of your bike. Now hit the start button and see if they spark. If they do not spark or have alot of carbon build up on them replace that and try again. If the new spark plugs do not work then its a wiring problem and let me know and I will talk you thru that. If its not the spark plugs then you want to check the gas flow. On the bottom of the gas tank there will be a shut off valve for the gas(petcock). Attached to the petcock there is a hose that comes off the bottom and runs to the carburetor. Turn the petcock off and detach the hose from the carburetor. Get a basin that you can temporarily put gas into. Put the hose in the basin and turn the gas back on. If you get good gas flow the petcock is good. Now if they are good this is where the fun begins. The carburetor is very touchy when it comes to any dirt or anything of that nature there are alot of small holes for the gas to go thru especially with the main and pilot jets. It may just be that the float is stuck. Your best bet in this case is just to get a phish(its like a parts schematic) and a bottle of carb cleaner and go to town cleaning all the ports and pieces. Make sure that when you take the carburetor off you put a clean paper towel in any open holes in the motor. You dont want any dust or dirt getting in there. Water just goy into my muffler and my dirt bike wont start is it the pistons

It would talke a lot of water to get into the pistons under normal circumstances. Pull the plugs and try to give it a kick. If there is water in there, it should come out when you kick it. Check the oil for water contamination. If you find any water, change your oil immediately. Oil should look like honey or it shuld be black. Anything else is contaminatied. If you find water, squirt oil into each spark plug hole and turn your engine over - get local advice from your motorcycle shop.

Thanks for using

recharge or. replace your battery; the battery needs a huge amount of amperage to turn over the engine but less to fire the ignition

Basicaly brand new cr25o mx bike wont start

Assuming you are using fresh gas. Check to see if gas is coming out of the line, if not blow back up into the tank and if that works there's dirt in the tank. Check the spark by removing the plug and kicking it over with the plug touching the engine, look for spark. If no spark, try a new plug, if still no spark, you have a stator problem. It wouldn't hurt to clean the air filter in any case. Good luck!

My dirtbike sat in the garage for 4 years now it wont run right .

have you checked the reeds inside the induction side if they are corroded from sitting it will cause that problem, also check the spark plug, may just be a case of weak spark ,if still no good check the coila good way to test if it is a spark problem get a can of aerostart (wyns start ya bastard) and spary a little in carby, should start real easy. if so then spark is your problem. also just thinking check tat your exhaust has not collapsed inside itself or is blocked, that can cause no power too. hope i have been of some help.

Motorcycles wont start

Your bike needs 4 things to run-Fuel, Spark, Air and Compression. One or some of these are missing.

1) Crank engine over several times to start. Remove spark plug. If plug is wet and smells like gas then it is getting fuel.

2) Check for spark
Put spark plug back into spark plug cap and lay spark end along side bolt or part of unpainted head making contact and crank over engine as if to start. If no spark then is electrical problem. Try changing spark plug. Check grounds. If not plug or grounds then purchase a shop manual from your local dealer and ohms test all electeical componet resistances as shop manual instructs. Be sure components do not meet specks before purchasing.

3) If has spark and plug was wet upon removal then gas has water or just old gas. If you drained the carb via bottom of carb screw into a clean clear container and see stuff at the bottom then carb is dirty with water and or dirt.

If your bike has been sitting along time condensation will build explaining water and or gas will loose its kick after sitting too long. If you think it has been sitting a long time it is best to dispose of old gas and refill with new. Water can also get into tank from gas can when fully tipped upright so dont dump every last drop into the tank...most ofter the last couple of cups are water.

If bike has been sitting for a few days and was running fine before that, turn off gas, drain carb via bottom of carb screw, close off screw and turn gas back on. This will refresh the gas in carb.

If none of these are the case and you have good fuel, good spark...check air filter for air flow. If all this is good then you need to do a compression check. A simple way to do it is to stick your finger in the spark plug hole and hold it in there with some force and have a friend try to start the bike. If it blows your finger out then it has compression. If it doesnt want to force your finger out then you have no compression and is a piston and ring problem. The only way to test compression for sure it to purchase a compression tester from auto parts store that has an adapter for your size plug hole and do a proper test. I hope this helps.
