    Hello theiir again,

this is the ideal ratio for a upgraded motor.

minimum of 25:1 means 25 liter of gasoline needs 1 liter of oil.

If you use approximately 32 ml to a liter that gives you about a 32:1 mix but if you go to about 28 ml to a liter you will get more power but you risk more wear and tear

What is the proper ratio to mix of the oil to gas?

There is a big range of answers to that question but to give you some idea of the answer 32 parts petrol to 1 part oil - right up to 60 parts petrol to 1 part oil is the range of ratio that most commonly would be used . to give some insight in simple terms the more fuel and less oil mixture you will burn hotter and produce more power but sacrifice wear and tare on the motor
realistically the mix you choose depends on what sort of riding you intend to do - if you are racing and want the hole shot then 50 - 60:1 mix with half pump fuel and half race fuel will get you there but you will be rebuilding the top end fairly regularly
For recreational use only then 40:1 mix with standard pump fuel only would be the most common as it is in the middle of the range giving you good power with high level lubrication so ware and tare kept to minimum.
if you make changes to fuel mix then keep the changes small just alter the mix slightly and record the results because you will also find each bike responds a little differently
when I am setting bikes up for events I usually will go out to test area with 3 or 4 bottles each just with 500 ml of different mixtures in them and give each mix a test just for five or ten minutes then once the best mix chosen the I start fine tuning the carbi fuel air mix etc only takes an hour or so and what the hell it's a lot of fun to do any way!

I have an old craftsman snowblower. It is a pullstart. I inherited this from my father. He did not have the manual.. wondering if I could find how much gas to oil mix and if it is a 2 cycle or 4 cycle...

The way to tell if it's 2 or 4 stroke is, if it has seperate tanks for the oil and petrol then it would be 4 stroke. I know that's not entirely true in today's world but up to recently it was. If it's 2 stroke then you need to mix the petrol with 2 stroke oil. Unless someone knows the right mix ratio I would start off with a rich mixture of 25:1 and see how it goes. If it's giving off a lot of smoke I'd reduce the oil a little to 30:1. It should be ok with this ratio. Use good quality 2 stroke oil e.g. Husqvarna or Stihl as some of the cheaper oils available at car service stations are not as good at protecting machinery.

Do not know what mixture or how to use

40:1 mixture for the fuel:oil ratio.16:1 will cause your saw to barely run(if at all) and if it does, will fog out every mosquito for 4 blocks. You can use any reputable 2-stroke oil, though stay away from outboard engine oil. Get the good stuff that says Stihl, or Husquavarnah, or something like that. Even the Homelite stuff is ok. The oil tank takes regular bar and chain oil.

My honda cr 125 motcross keeps going through spark plugs, using correct fuel, runs well for an hour or so.

Hello assuming there were no carburetor jet changes and your bike is running to rich. or you have realy dirty air cleaner.
Fouling plugs due to to much oil could be the wetside oil seal needs replace because it is letting your trans oil enter the crancase or you have worn crankshaft roller bearings.

What oil to fule ratio must be used on my 2003 honda cr125r

32 to 1. That equals 4 ounces of two stroke engine oil to one gallon of gas. DO NOT use motor oil. Only use two stroke engine oil.

Confused a little

A 4 stroke motor does NOT have Oil in the Fuel. There is NO fuel mixture. Just use regular gas. The only place you need oil is in the sump, and regular 20/30 motor oil will be fine. This only needs to be replaced when low on dipstick in crankcase.

Need a Manual for HomeLite Leaf Blower Vacuum Model Ut08934B, specifically for fuel mixture ratio.

Most 2 stroke engines.......99% now use 50 to 1 mix in the fuel.
Others are close to this ratio.

Older....over 20 to 30 years old ........that may have had 20 to 1 ....or other ratios run happily on a 50 to 1 ratio using the newer 2 stroke oils.
And......BONUS.......they have increased engine life because of reduced semi burnt oil build up caused by "too much oil".......particularly around the rings on the piston(s) etc.
