John sorry nobody has helped you yet.

I am not familiar with your bike, but maybe some clarification will help others.

    1. 2 or 4 stroke?

    2. Reason I ask is,, oil tank sounds like maybe 2 stroke

    3. if 2 stroke, you should only put 2 stoke mix oil in the oil injection tank that will later mix with the gas to provide mixed gas. and it will not EVER return to the tank,

    4. Are you saying the MOTOR Oil in the motor is overFull,

OR are you saying that the actual Crankcase area (which on a 2 stroke should not have anything in it except for a trace of mixed gas) Is full of 2 stroke oil, or gas.

Sorry to be so basic. but gotta start somewhere.

Campbell hausfeld 20 gl 4h.p #VT620400AJ WHY IS THERE OIL N MY TANK COOD I PLZ GET N ANSWER

Please do not yell, and please proofread before posting.

My guess it was on it's side, oil from the crankcase slipped past the rings and the valve into the tank. Other guess is you have way too much oil in the crankcase. Drain it out the tank via the condensate drain. If you want to clean the tank, only use nonflammable cleaners. Look at the brake cleaner row in a car parts store. Remove the drain screw. Spray a lot in the tank. Swish it around, drain. Repeat till what drains out is oil free. Drain and refill the oil in the crankcase to the fill line, or to the required amount per the owners manual.

Were is the oil drain plug on a 2008 bigdog mutt 117C.U.

warm the oil up.....take a little ride.
find the oil drain at the bottom rear of the oil tank. drain oil. replace filter.
the HD style V-twin is a dry sump engine. there shouldn't be much oil in the crankcase. DO NOT remove the plug in the bottom of the crankcase!!!!! if you strip it, you will have to replace the crankcases......if it falls out, you will loose all your oil while riding.
fill the oil tank with the oil of your choice. any 20w-50 if acceptable. do not top it off! the oiling system requires an air gap at the top of the oil tank. typically 3 quarts of oil.

Oil not filling main tank 115 yammy2stroke ,want to understand also how the oil system functions

if you have a separate oil tank then the oil is added by a metering pump to the fuel as it goes to to the crankcase
find any 2 stroke manual for a bike and they all operate the same way.

Oil is going into cyl.

If you are saying chain oil is entering the cylinder then you either have the gasket gone between the tank and the crankcase, or the crank seal is allowing oil from the oil pump into the crankcase.

I would like to know how to fill up the oil tank in Honda Active. Do I have to use a funnel to fill it, if yes how much

You need a funnel.
Go ahead and fill it all the way up,it has an oil pump that automaticaly mixes the proper amount of oil with the gas.
If were talking about the crankcase oil level add enough just to yhe point of the little fill level line etched into the side of the crankcase cover.
Good luck,Gary

Change oil, filter howlong should it take for oil to get back in crankcase

The oil in a H-D engine does not reside in the crankcase. A Harley engine is a design known as a "dry sump" engine. The oil is stored in an oil tank. From there it is pumped into the engine to lubricate the parts. Once it has done that, it is pumped out of the engine, through the oil filter, and back to the tank.

When you the oil and the filter, it should not take but a minute or two to see the oil return to the oil tank. It must fill the filter first. Now, if the oil light will not go out, you may have an air lock in your oil feed line. If you feel this is the problem, remove the oil pressure switch, and the spin the engine with the starter and pump a few ounces of oil out to remove the air. Replace the switch and everything should be fine.

If you do not have oil pressure on your engine, it will be very evident. Your engine is equipped with hydraulic tappets. If you do not have oil pressure, these units will collapse and rattle loudly. There will be no doubt in your mind. Just start the engine and watch for the oil to start squirting back into the oil tank. You'll probably need a flashlight to see into the tank.

1994 300 4x4 2 stroke, where do you fill the

2-stroke gasoline engines don't use a reserve of oil in the crankcase the way 4-stroke engines do. Instead, you add oil to the gasoline to ensure lubrication of the engine. The correct ratio to mix would be in the owner's manual.

Ridgid Compressor ol50135 twin tanks

You need to check if the compressor has frozen up.

LIKELY the check valve has failed or has contaamination under the seat. Often these valves are right where the compressor line goes into the tank. The unit will not hold pressure since the compression relief will vent at shutdown.

Check oil level in crankcase.

I cannot find the oil filler cap on my old toro. can you help me?

You can Locate a Breakdown that will show you the Location of the Oil Fill Cap at the Following Site Addy.
Is this a 2 Cycle or 4 Cycle Engine?
If a 2 Cycle Engine, then the Oil is Mixed into the Gas and Poured into the Tank. If a 4 Cycle, then there is a Crankcase and Oil is Added to the Crankcase through the Oil Fill Cap.
Hope this Helps.

Good Luck
