I have same problem with mine any luck with it

need vehicle make and year. "Full" choke will always flood the engine causing it to dye. once running reduce choke. Is this automatic or manual choke?

Just bought Aprillia mx 125 2006 and had the same issue. Today carb came off and cleaned in petrol then air lined the jets. Whilst carb off have a look at the reed valves, clean also. I removed the SAS valve and uprated air filter and check your rave valve cable and solinoid. She runs great cant wait to get arrow exhaust now. it is digital or a cable screwed into the back, check that the cable is all the way screwed in, if it is, remove it and make sure the end of the cable is square on both ends.

Mine did same thing, need to manually adjust choke. If you raise hood and adjust your throttle you will see that when you press up to choke that it actually hits & pushed in choke. But when you back off if it is like mine the choke doesn't come off, so I manually pulled choke to off & mine started right up. I am still trying to find how or where cable came off for the choke to be adjusted by throttle lever. That is why I was on here looking for photo of engine.

Check your spark plug. If it is not all black, it should be ok. If it is, replace it. Reinstall new plug, Kick it full choke no throttle. Let it run for 15 secs with the choke on. Shut the choke off while reving it. If the bike will not idle, clean the carb. Chaz Moto DC

try changing the plug motor needs air, fule and spark to run.

dear hard to start first thing to do is to install a new plug and second make sure your choke system is working. you could try to prim the engine by squirting fuel in spark plug hole if fires up right away you have choke problem. that would mean a carb cleaning.
